[The Kharli praising Shanna fest continues]

Oh my gosh! You would not believe how relieved I was to have a free day to catch up on this series. This story has been one of the things that I look forward to every week. Seeing how wonderfully this story is progressing and watching the fluctuations and changes of relationships occurring right under my nose has been entertaining to say the least.

First of all, I’m so glad (as I’m sure many others are) that Finn was not cheating. Even though I knew that he probably wouldn’t do that, I couldn’t help the bits of fear and the clenching of my teeth that came when the main character went to his dorm room. To watch how their relationship was covered in glittered and gold to this sort of slow fading is a bit sad to watch. And it's not something that they can just fix because it's always going to be there. The unsynchronized schedules and the fact that they are beginning to really find their footing in their respective places is really making a mark on them. It reminds me of some of the friendships that I've lost due to moving away for college. The distance and difference in schedules can sometimes make it difficult to reach out to those you care about, but I think if you truly want to make a relationship work, then you would do the best you could to make the most of what you have.

On a brighter note though, yay for Mr. Vlad not being an ass. A small victory, but one that made me smile. And, oh, did Jimin do more research on what tendonitis was? If he did, then that was so sweet. I liked reading that small convo because you can tell that bad blood aside (if it could be called that now), that he really does care about her.  And, I also feel like once Sabrina gets that stick (or barre hehe) out of her ass, she and the main character could be somewhat like friends. Possibly. Maybe. I don’t know, she still makes me side-eye her every time I think about the comments she made during the weigh-ins.

I actually didn't mean to read this fic so early in the morning. I was going to wait until later today after I finished my work and had time to relax, but I was greedy and wanted to read it now, and so now I'm here. Laying in bed and just thinking about how amazing this was. 

The dialogue, the witty texts, the smut scene that was just...WOW. And the ending?!?!?!? I would have felt so embarrassed omg!!! But everything felt so nice and good to read, and I'm really happy that I read this now. Even though this was written almost five years ago, your writing feels so timeless. It's something that I can enjoy no matter what, and I'm so glad to have found such an amazing artist.

As you sigh and settle into his embrace, you realize he feels like a new man. 

There is a quiet kind of confidence to him that you hadn’t noticed before. An ability to sit still and silently and find comfort in that. 

God, it’s sexy. 

I shouldn’t be reading this...No, I most definitely shouldn’t be reading this right now, but I peeped into the discord chat and saw the header for chapter 3, and that’s what sparked this. YOU are what sparked this, Willow.

First of all, you are a menace in the most favorable ways. The way you are able to just hook our attention from the beginning and keep the momentum, building it throughout, and even when the story is finished (not just for this one, but for all of them), you make people yearn for more. You and your writing are like a siren because you will most definitely be the end of me by the time I get finished reading this series.

Also, may I say that the depiction of the cabin seems so damn nice. 

The room is surrounded on two sides by entirely glass walls. The light that spills from the lamps that have already been lit makes it so beyond the walls, everything looks pitch black. Lush, fluffy carpets are scattered around the room, and in the corner is a small personal library, a little couch, and an armchair. And in the very center of the room is what you can only imagine to be an indoor fire pit. 

Like screw them, both literally and figuratively, but I wanna live there!!!! What the hell??!?! (Also, side note, the things that you could do in that glass hallway….😗)

Also, I love Hoseok’s playful sexiness. He’s cocky, entertaining, and dynamic, and it’s beyond charming and I love his character so much already. 

And *bangs fist on table* Willow, why’d you have to make Jungkook so, so sexy? Hmm?? That entire kitchen scene had me reeling. With a capital REELING. I was so breathless by the time I was done, and then I had to go get dinner as if all of that did not just happen. As if you didn’t make me go “Oh…” by the end of it all. As if you didn’t know how much your writing affects me, and yet, you do something like this.

Okay, now that I’ve calmed down a little...Um...I’m not sure if you’ll see me later tonight, tomorrow, next week, or during my break that’s coming up, but you’ll most definitely be met with a reaction of me screaming to the heavens because of you.

He looks like original sin, a deadly mix of relaxation and that sharp gaze, devouring every single detail of the scene before him. And yet, despite the mask of control, you watch as each beautiful sound out of Jungkook’s mouth shoots straight through him. 

I know that I keep saying this, and you probably already know what I’m going to say, but I’m still going to say it: You and the way you do intros and lead-ins into each and every one of your chapters is phenomenal. It felt like the beginning of a movie was being played out and I could envision everything so vividly. So dowsed in intensity and heated moments. How are you able to make something so erotic and lewd so artistic and poetic. It felt like there were stars beneath my eyelids as I imagined it, everything so dreamy and enticing. But yet, the things that they were saying, the things that they were doing, were so carnal and sensual. 

It was beautiful.

And, this is small but, yay for aftercare and peeing after sex! I don’t know why, but just reading that part made me happy as I was reading it. 

One thing I love within each part so far is that embedded along with the smut are really cute and wholesome moments. That even though characters have begun to establish sexual relationships with each other, there are just scenes where it’s just them being them and expressing the love that they’ve shown pre-cabin escapades. Another things that I’ve noticed along with that is the constrast in relationships between the main character, Jimin and Jungkook, and the one that the main character has formed with Hoseok. It feels deeper when it comes to Hoseok, more “grounding”  and soulful like you said. It makes me wonder if they’ve been harboring feelings for each other for a while…
