My Oc's name is Melaenor Belaerys

Hnnggg I know incest is basically the plot of the show & books but I made my oc a daughter of an extinct dragonlord family (the Belaerys) and a stark (she is literally a song of fire & ice lmao). I also gave her the power to have visions, she and Helaena are bffs fr. She and Baela are bffs too cuz I aint pitting 2 bad bitches against each other.

I didnt wanna give her the standard white hair, so I gave her salt and pepper hair with the most haunting light purple eyes anyone has ever seen.

She and Jace are NAWT your traditional Targaryen couple 💀

The primary reason that the Targaryens marry their siblings/relatives is to preserve the "magic" that runs in their blood. We see the significance of that in the struggle to find new dragonriders. So if your OC is of dragonrider lineage anyway, I doubt there would be much issue with her betrothal to Jacerys--unless they're rival families! The Starks would be valuable allies as well.

I encourage you to write your fics and rant about your OC! :) Although I'm a big ASOIAF geek, my blog has barely any following in the HotD circles. I hope you find an audience for your writing. It sounds very interesting!

Im so sorry for being annoying but im going crazy and i know u wont judge. Change of plans (read: plot), what about Belaerys family getting massacred, Anastasia 1997 movie/musical style or Uchiha style.

What if house Belaerys are like the Starks in which they dont participate in political functions/have no political presence but are still a major house and are often invited to parties such as name days as a sign of respect.

They dont have as much dragons as the targs but they were a major house in old valyria so they are still a noble house. They just want to ensure their bloodline and arent focused in conquering.

So many thoughts and the plot is getting much more tangled 💀

Canonically, house Belaerys is extinct but in my potential fic, I imagine there were a few survivors of the doom, just barely but enough to continue the bloodline until Viserys was king. I imagine Mel's mother went to the north and married a Stark man and had her. Seeing as her mother doesnt have the protection the targs do, I feel like those that want the old valyrians gone would take advantage of it.

Jace and Mel are going through a slowburn while everybody in the vicinity is just done with them and wants them to kiss already bc it has been years.

Also Im pretty sure my high valyrian will not be accurate bc I just use a translator 💀

I didn't even consider that possibility of the Targaryens wanting competing dragonlords gone! But I would pity anyone who tries to harm a Child of the North. Those wolves sure know how to protect their own! (Yeah I know complete horrors befell Sansa and Arya, but those were extreme times.)

I have never seen Frozen 2, and I can only vaguely remember the plot of Aquaman. LOL. But slow-burns can be very compelling romances, and you should def go for this! :) I hope no one really focuses too much on accuracy when it comes to High Valyrian... the language is so young that fic writers should be able to create their own words to fill in the gaps!

I very much agree to just about all of your hcs about Jace. Like, especially about him being super soft and romantic 🥺 like yes he most definitely takes the lead of showing affection but he has that certain charm wherein you know he's being genuine in how much he adores his beloved.

When it comes to intimacy, I do think that Jace is all about sweet mumblings, quiet declarations of love and devotion, and slow yet deep lovemaking. He loves holding his beloved close, so close that there is barely any space between them. Whether she's riding him or she's underneath him, he's kissing her and whispering sweet praises. I know full well his hands are not staying in one place, his (veiny 😩) hands are everywhere, grasping and caressing anywhere he can reach.

I feel like Jace is very vocal in the sense he is very much rambling on and on how perfect and divine his beloved is (in and outside the bedroom).

Bonus points is Jace whispering his devotion in high valyrian 😳 calling her sweet petnames in his native tongue 🥺

On the subject of *hands*, I'd like to add that he adores when you just like,, play with his fingers, in whatever context. Cuddling and slowly examining them like you're making sure he's got all ten, or when you're nervous OR literally when he's like....taking care of you and you need something to ground yourself ;) you're fidgeting with his fingers so he always makes sure to offer them to you.
