I love a good game of bingo!

Decided to make this a short series because the politics and conspiring will be too interesting to resist. Masterlist is on the way.

Story idea:

A rumor spreads to King’s Landing. A boy has claimed a dragon on Dragonstone. Viserys initially brushes it off as a poor jest until it grows undeniable. A boy, some common boy, has bonded with one of the wild dragons. In an attempt to keep things under wraps, Viserys legitimatizes the boy, claiming he’s a bastard of Targaryen decent.

Tensions rise when the boy arrives in court. He’s a commoner with no place there yet he is there. His Valyrian features are very prominent and only make the three eldest sons of Rhaenyra stand out more. His manners and demeanor lead to an air of uncomfortableness. The Dance has yet to happen. The factions are unsure what to do with this stranger. Should they convince him to join them or do their best to avoid him?

But one consequence of his arrival looms over. A common boy had claimed a dragon, a weapon of untold destruction. For years many believed only true-born Targaryens could control such beasts. The idea of the Targaryen’s strength is threatened. After all, if a bastard from no where could claim a dragon, what's stopping any other dragonseeds or Targaryen descendants from doing so?

I wrote a couple chapters of this once but am probably not going to finish. I think it's a cool concept that can go into Targaryens and the idea of their exceptionalism

My favorite dragons from HOTD/Fire &Blood + why I love them (in no particular order)

In Show:

Vhagar (the Queen of all dragons, enough said)

Arrax (he had such unique mannerisms, you could tell he was a baby)

Caraxes (he's so weird I love him, I ignore Daemon as his rider cause I love him too much)

Sunfyre (literally a beautiful boy, if you read Fire & Blood, you know he is dedicated)

Have yet to appear in the show but are in Fire & Blood:

Tessarion (the cobalt blue scales and she was that loyal to her rider)

The Cannibal (the most feared dragon on Dragonstone and so mysterious people debate if he is older than the Targaryen Conquest)

Grey Ghost (he hates people and only eats fish, he was amazing for being that introverted)

Stormcloud (he cared so much for his rider bro)

Morghul (how dare they give such a cool name and barely use them???? Morghul means "Death" in High Valyrian. The potential was there)
