If byler is not canon, not only will it have been an absolutely sickening queerbate, but it also will reduce Mike to a one dimensional, annoying, and homophobic character who's only point in the show is to be El's boyfriend. And Will's only point is to be the sad gay kid who's pain is used to further a straight realtionship. Will and Mike would loose so much depth and the duffers would be some of the cruelest people to do that. I truley believe in byler being canon, and if by some terrible twist of fate it turns out to be just another queer ship advertised to gain more money, I will be utterly furious and disgusted.

You are just projecting.

If you think that way of Mike if Byler isn't canon then you don't care about Mike as a character, you only care about him as half of your fanship. There is no indication in this show to show that Mike will ever be with Will, he literally did a speech of love to El in S4. So, you can be furious and disgusted all you want, but you're only doing that to yourself because you decided to make up something that the show has never even done. It's literally one-sided, that is all.

No one cares that you ship it, we only care that you guys are so loud and wrong about it being canon and that it will be queerbaiting because you're not getting what you want.
