Curly's gotten his head stuck in a school chair and the school had to call the fire department to cut him out. ponyboy took a picture of it and uses it as blackmail.

•considering the curtis house phone doesnt allow for much privacy, when curly calls, pony can always tell if theyre listening in bc he notices that they get a pretty silent
•pony and curly have done that thing where ur play fighting but someone actually gets rlly hurt, and u cant even hide it from the adults, u just gotta snitch on urself😭😭
•for school awards ponys gets, during the ceremony u can hear the gang, but u can also hear curly, and hes half cheering for pony, half yelling just to yell, sometimes his friends join in, so now TWO gangs r yelling for pony and ponys just embarrassed considering running away
•darry already has to tell pony not to smoke in his room, so when curlys ALSO over, he opens the door and its like a fucking oven in there, like forgetting about the smoking bit, r yall trynna kys??? open the window a little more or somethin😭
•darry would b so pissed to hear that theres been moments where curlys paid off some of the gang from sticking w them while theyre hanging out, BUT IF IT HELPS they dont 100% leave
•i like to think that if curly ever heard these socs talking about pony, he would go to the gang and thats the ONLY time theyll rlly ever listen to curly
•pony sometimes forgets the notes him and curly send to each other back and forth in class, and darry does laundry usually so he finds them and let me tell u, the way he talks to curly vs the gang is so different, darrys never heard some of these words leave ponys lips and he doesnt want to, pony came home w the note on the table and he knew he was done for
Crying Headcanons

♪ Ponyboy: Canonically cries when they're very upset/emotional. I'm not gonna change it because I like it the way it is and nothing really needs to be added to it.
♪ Johnny: Canonically almost never cries. The only way to get him to cry is to hurt him (emotionally hurting him does more damage than physically) and/or scare him. (Like the time when he got jumped by Bob and his friends.) Again, I'm keeping it as it is because it suits Johnny perfectly.
♪ Steve: Never cries. If he does, it's only a few tears and it's over as soon as it started. Steve's not much of a crier. He hates crying. It makes him feel weak and he despises feeling/looking fragile.
♪ Darry: He only cries when he's alone. And he's real quiet about it, too. He cries himself to sleep every night after Pony and Soda have gone off to bed. It's a coping mechanism he's had ever since he was little.
♪ Sodapop: He's the crybaby of the family. He's a bit sensitive, so the gang (especially Dallas) have to be very careful about what they say to Soda because they hate it when he cries. It breaks their hearts every time.
♪ Two-Bit: Similar to Steve. He doesn't cry all that much, but when they do, it's only for a few minutes. Like Darry, Two-Bit's quiet when he cries.
♪ Dallas: Doesn't cry much. It's not rare, but it's uncommon enough to concern people. And when he cries, he is very, very emotional. He cries to the point where he can't breathe, until his eyes are burning and dry, until he loses his voice. He once cried so hard he started vomiting. And when he starts crying, he doesn't stop. He'll cry for hours and hours until he's cried himself to sleep. It is absolutely heartbreaking watching him cry. You can't help but cry along with him.

Curly Shepard hc
He has a skateboard board that he absolutely loves to use but he has broken his nose like six times cause he was going to fast and fell off face first.
He refuses to go anywhere if his mom or stepfather ask him to go.
None of the Shepard siblings like there stepfather. They all think he's a little bitch and will tell him that to his face.
Curly and Angela have the same father but both were completely accidental. Neither where planned and their mother and father were not together at any point in time.
Tim wasn't planned either but their mother was at least dating Tim's father.
Curly has broken many bones and all were for stupid reasons.
Curly once was playing war with Pony and to everyone's shock Ponyboy broke Curly's arm accidentally of course and Ponyboy was almost in tears trying to apologize.
When Curly was about three there mother got with a really abusive boyfriend that hated when curly cried. So anytime Curly would cry the boyfriend would knock Curly out and lock him in his and Angela's room.
Curly got many concussions from this to the point to where both Tim and Angela are both concerned about whether it had any lasting effects or if the Curly they had was always supposed to be like he is.
When Curly is missing Ponyboy he'll look at the cigarette burn on his hand and smile.
Curly and Ponyboy both have multiple other cigarette burns on them form playing chicken before Tim caught them that one time.
i know this is in multiple other head cannons but i love the idea of them being each other's first kiss. Like one day Curly and Ponyboy were hanging out and suddenly Ponyboy would ask Curly if he had had his first kiss and Curly saying no glancing over at Ponyboy and asking if he had kissed anyone witch leads to them practicing on each other. An suddenly it's something they do every time they see each other ""just in case"" even though they never kiss anyone else.
Curly has a snake tattoo on his hip and a tattoo on his lower back that says shepherd. His favorite tattoo though is the star on his left shoulder blade it only an inch or so but he convinced Ponyboy to do it and it is his pride and joy.
Before the gang let ponyboy smoke he would get the candy cigarettes to look cool. That and he liked the chalky texture confusing all his brothers cause ponyboy actually dislikes a lot of food for how it feels in his mouth.
The Outsiders pool day hc part 2
Sodapop stays in the pool the entire time. You can hardly get him out at the end of the day and he will not eat unless you promise at lest three time that he can get back in.
Darry is the casual enjoy he likes to kick back and relax.He will play if the gang ask but pool day means relaxing for Darry.
Ponyboy likes playing all the pool games. It's his favorite part. chicken? marco polo? just plain tackling people? He'll do it all.
Johnny is one of those people that says there one for pool games but when it comes down to it he usually chills on the sides. no one knows if he's actually playing or not.
Two-bit is one of those people that splashes people all the time even though they tell him to stop. He annoys everyone he goes with but he always brings the best boze so they don't complain.
Dally only comes to show off and if he's there for any other reason he always looks amazing and it drives everyone insane.
Steve is exactly the same as ponyboy and it is amazing to watch when them play chicken together.
THE OUTSIDERS POOL DAY HC
Dally doesn't like getting in the pool. he usually just goes to pick up girls.
Before the curtis parents died Ponyboy's favorite thing was to play war in the pool witch ended up getting them kicked out on multiple occasions.
Two-bit has a Scar on his right butt cheek from trying to jump the fence on night. The gate was not locked and Sodapop laughed when ponyboy opened the gate.
The first year Dally and Johnny met Johnny couldn't swim so Dally helped Johnny learn.
Darry is really good at swimming because his swimming lessons were being thrown into the lake repeatedly by his father and being told to make it back.
Darry was also the one to teach Soda and pony how to swim.
Ponyboy is good at swimming but doesn't enjoy it as much as Darry did.
Darry was a lifeguard during the summer for his entire high school years.
Two-bit loves going but has gotten kicked out for spilling beer in the pool making them shut down for the day to try and clean.
Two-bit's mom makes Two-bit take his sister at least once a week to get them out of the house (not that Two-bit is there often)
Sodapop almost drowned the first time he got in the water

Ponyboy likes going to the animal exhibits, especially the duck exhibit it's his favorite.
Ponyboy and Sodapop beg Darry for the giant turkey legs. They never get them, they either leave before they can or Darry says they "have food at home".
Darry used to love going to the fair but after their parents died he had to skip going to it the first two years they passed since he didn't have enough money for it.
Dally's favorite part is the Demolition Derby but he never pays for his ticket so security chases him off around midday.
Sodapop and Steve do the couple rides together since evie and sandy left them(that's there names right?) it's there favorite rides in the park and they refused to give up their joy because they are single
Johnny doesn't pay to get in either but one of the curtis brothers usually pays for him a ticket so he doesn't get thrown out not that he's aware of it.
The only reason Johnny goes to the fair is because Dally brings him. Johnny doesn't actually like any of the rides or anything.
Two-bit absolutely loves the fair even though he usually gets kicked out for being too drunk in a "family fun zone".
Two-bit has also riden every ride there is in the fair and is constantly leaving letters in the recommendations box to get new rides
When the curtis family was all alive they went to the fair every year .
All of the curtis gang have at least one of those huge stuffed animals .
The tv in the curtis family house is from the fair their dad was really good at ring toss.
Johnny has a stuffed fox that dally won for him but he keeps it in ponyboy's room under his bed.
Darry's first ever date was at the fair and he tried to empress her with the ring toss like his dad,that was how he found out he sucked at ring toss but he did get a second date she thought it was sweet he kept trying to get her the stuffed animal.
Two-bit brings his sister every year it's there. It brings them closer.
The day Two-bit got out of rehab for his drinking his friends and sister took him to the fair on the last day it was there and it was the most fun he had in years even though everyone of them got thrown out.
After Dally and Johnny died no one went to the fair for a long time the next being when Two-bit got out.
Ponyboy thought about getting a job at the fair when he was young.
When Ponyboy was packing up for college he found Johnny's fox plush and had to finish packing the next morning having cried for not only the owner of the plush but the person that won it aswell.
*sodapop picking ponyboy up from school cause pony got jumped again and soda's being overprotective*
