AAAAAAND THE RESULTS ARE IN!!

A decent amount of people participated in this, I’m so excited with the results. Seeing Rush getting the majority of votes here I expected, but some of the other guys got some votes too…

Very happy to see guys like Loverboy, Triumph, Platinum Blonde, and even April Wine get voted. I expected a little for The Guess Who and BTO, but the other guys surprised me. Gowan surprised me too, good god, he got third place! That feels insane, it’s so cool to know that there’s Gowan fans on here.

I’m sad that Trooper and Honeymoon Suite didn’t get any votes, but I expected it a little since they’re much less known outside of Canada. Kim Mitchell really surprised me, I expected him to at least get one vote. I guess he’s less well known than I thought.

To conclude, I love how this poll came out. It’s awesome to find fans of these bands at this day and age, and on a website such as this. Thanks to everyone that voted on this!

Gonna be real I need to say this cus I'm weird but for the Canadian band thing i listen to Honeymoon Suite, Triumph, BTO & April Wine but Loverboy has my soul also I had to pick them

Oh man you aren’t weird at all for saying this. I love hearing other people talk about the music I like, especially bands like this that I’ve grown up listening to. Loverboy is so awesome, they mean the world to me. They’re the first guys I saw live, and they’re just a genuinely cool band. Of course I’d understand why you’d pick Loverboy, they’re epic. April Wine also means a lot to me, they’re from Nova Scotia (my home province), and their music is just so good. It’s so cool meeting other people who like these bands too :)
