pigeon sponge year in review

what a bad year. started out with art block, got good in time for commission related reasons, and then spent the rest of the year with really bad art block.

it didn't really help that irl was chaotic in the sense that if a single bee stings you its not that big of a deal but if you get hundreds of bees stinging you all at the same time and you can't really handle that but you can't just squish all the bees to make them go away because bees are important and that would be mean so you just kind of lay down and deal with it praying to god that as you do you squish as few of them as possible and once all the bees decide to leave you're still covered in bee stings and you keep getting reminded of it until the day you die but until then you get so distracted by it that you accidentally walk into another beehive

anyways next year i'm working on portrait basics and going to therapy
