I Opened Her Letter

I opened her letter

Or what I thought was a letter

I was surprised when all I saw were two words

"I'm sorry"

I look at her mother's letter

The paper says the same two words

I realize none of them say anything different

But if she was sorry

Why did she do it?

She's not sorry

I hate her for it
