Hinata really isn't as agreeable as the Naruto fandom makes her out to be. I hate this idea that the fandom has of hinata being a people pleaser, when in canon she is the exact opposite. She may be a pacifist, but when her beliefs and those she loves are concerned, she fights passionately with no hesitation. It's this quality of hers that had her fighting with Neji and Pein, despite knowing she'd lose. It's this quality of hers that had her bitchslap Naruto for considering joining Obito. It's this quality of hers that had her gouge out Hanabi's eyes from Toneri. She never really conformed to her clan's ways and always kept being unapologetically herself. She's the Diana to the Hyugas' royal family. In short, she's an INFP💅🏻

To clarify I actually really like Sakuhina as a concept. But because it's not heterosexual, it can be a little tricky to write for people who can't wrap their heads around the idea that there is no such thing as the "man"/"woman" in a relationship. So of course in fics Hinata and her daughter take up Sakura's last name. Y'all might think that this is no big deal, but as someone who constantly has their favourite character bashed, fetishized, and generally not seen as anything more than an archetype, this annoys me. Like, canon Sakura joined the Uchiha clan after marrying Sasuke, but you want me to think she wouldn't do the same for Hinata who is literally considered royalty? Why is it only Sakura who gets to benefit from "not being with a man"? Why must Hinata always be the compromiser? Make it make sense

Am I the only one who's bothered by fanarts and fanfics showing Hinata being the "housewife" in the Sakuhina family?Like, canonically the reason Hinata became inactive in the first place is because she wanted to be an attentive and present mother, since Naruto was appointed as Hokage(and therefore understandably quite occupied). There's literally no reason to assume she would give up her job in an AU where she wasn't the spouse of the Hokage. In most of the fics I've read Sakuhina have a typical Hetty dynamic with Sakura being the bold, dominant who's the main character while Hinata is her shy waifu and hypegirl. Honestly, I hate the way 90% of the fandom views Hinata's character, but it's particularly annoying when it affects a cute gay ship.
