If You're Trying To Get Into The Head Of Your Story's Antagonist, Try Writing An "Am I The Asshole" Reddit
if you're trying to get into the head of your story's antagonist, try writing an "Am I the Asshole" reddit post from their perspective, explaining their problems and their plans for solving them. Let the voice and logic come through.

PKMN & rainy resources

Itâs raining again, & Soraâs in a reading mood (I like how her eye markings look like glasses, hehe).
So, I donât have much of a mind for science (I share Ansyâs weakness to numbers lol), but I do find it interesting! Sora could probably tell me everything Iâd want to know about meteorology (sheâs originally from Hoennâs esteemed Weather Institute after all), but for now, here are some things Iâve found helpful for the casual weather fan đ§ď¸
The book sheâs reading (âCloud Spottingâ by Pocket Nature) is a good start: this is the first weather book I owned which combines cloud facts with mindfulness. One fact thatâs been on my mind lately is the fact that most weather happens only 7 miles (11.2654 km) up - mind blowing when people drive more than that in a day! I guess one way to think about it is âsomething that looks out of reach might be closer than you thinkâ âď¸
NOAA (National Weather Service) - Stands for the âNational Oceanic & Atmospheric Administrationâ the best place to follow the forecast in my country. While certain folks would like to limit this resource, it would be a great disservice, especially with Hurricane Helene currently blowing through the southeast (& I just learned might reach me a little with some storms - thanks NOAA!). âď¸
MinuteEarth - An offshoot of âMinutePhysicsâ (quick animations teaching physics stuff in a way that even I could follow!), MinuteEarth teaches bite-sized lessons on earth sciences, including weather, & sometimes PokĂŠmon cameos! Some of their fun rainy videos include âHow Mushrooms Make it Rainâ, âWhat Came First: The Rain or Rainforests?â, & my personal favorite, âWhy Doesnât All Thunder Sound the Same?â (if you watch it, look for Zapdos!) âď¸
Even if you have trouble following the technical aspects of a science like me doesnât mean you canât enjoy it. I donât think thereâs any shame in learning at the pace you learn, or in the way you learn. The important thing is that you learn! đđ§ď¸
DxP update - comic panels
Hi-hi! So, I decided to go back & reformat the panels for DxP REWRITE into a more vertical format, stacking the images on top of each other. The square grid made more sense for Instagram, as you swipe to the side, but this is not Instagram lol - here, we scroll down.
There are some panels I drew to stand side by side, so I left them next to each other, but it should overall read better.
Lemme know what you think! Better? Worse? Either way, Iâm gonna try posting tomorrowâs comic in the more vertical format (unless you guys hate it lol). See you tomorrow! đ§ď¸
Does Emmet have Ingo's journal?
Yes, indeed! He received it from Ansy back in the prologue shortly after Ingo disappeared.

Since then, he reads from it at least once a day, & always keeps it in his coatâs inner pocket during the day, next to his bedside at night. It was well-cared for, but whenever there was any wear / tear, he would meticulously repair it as he filled in his various notes (mostly translations from old Sinnohese to modern Galarian). đ
new home, PKMN, & music
The dust is slowly settling in our new apartment (lol), & weâve been having a lot of cozy September rain since we moved in. So, time for more rainy PokĂŠmon fun, of course! đ§ď¸

Rain (Vaporeon) always sits with her mate, Sasha (the misterâs Glaceon). Skye & Sora (Altaria & Castform) are on my desk next to my âRain Danceâ mug, & meet our newest addition, Cirrus (Cinccino)! Cirrus clouds are those wispy, upper atmosphere clouds resembling hair, the word âcirrusâ meaning âhairâ.
Our new area has a lot of open skies, so I have a better view for cloud spotting (lots of cumulus & nimbostratus lately) - thatâs been nice âď¸
Also been listening to a lot of cozy, rainy, video game music, so hereâs a couple of my rainy recâs if thatâs also your vibe đ§

insaneintherainmusic - amazing video game jazz arrangements as well as a few of his own compositions (some for indie games!). He has a LOT of PokĂŠmon arrangements - Iâve been listening to his âYear of Sinnohâ playlist a lot while making DxP REWRITE âď¸đˇ
Rainy Day Video Games Music - extended versions of cozy video music with a gentle rain track over it - very anti-anxiety. I especially like these tracks from Undertale: âQuiet Waterâ, âItâs Raining Somewhere Elseâ, & âGood Nightâ
shadowatnoon - like the previous channel, but with playlists of tracks instead of one extended track (some with a rain track, some not). Unfortunately, sheâs been struck with copyright for some of her best ones (not to mention theft, Smile Together), but someone made an archive for her. My favorites are ârain danceâ (a PokĂŠmon mix), âdrifting awayâ (a Kirby mix), & âdreamlandâ (a general Nintendo music mix).
Happy vibing! đŠľ

Note: I'm a 1997 baby, so obviously my choices are largely influenced by what was popular when I was in school - and what was popular with my friend group.
