Wading into this discussion. So I see a lot of sympathy for Mes on the timeline and pointing at the badness of Kinn and Pete. And look I am not excusing their actions but I am also gonna say that Mes is not Porche. First look at his house, he lived well. He was a member of Kinn's mafia group. Apparently he was embezzling from Kinn and selling his secrets to others. He was in knee deep with the mafia and then betrayed them. He played with fire and got burned. It sucks that his wife and kid have to also pay the price of loosing their husband/father but Mes went into it with his eyes open. He wasn't a newly orphaned young kid trying to survive. So when Pete talks about there being no good guys or bad guys, in his world (in this new world for Porche) there are none. We all hated the uncle in the 1st episode cause he screwed over Porche and Chay for his own greedy desires and Mes did the same. Do I think they should die, no but sometimes people get to the "found out" phase and it sucks for their loved ones. This does not mean that Porche can not empathize with Mes or hate what he is becoming but Mes is also not a direct correlation to Porche's past situation. This also does not give Kinn and party the right to beat him up; however, Kinn did say he was willing to excuse the money if Mes just told him who he sold his secrets to and gave him three days to confess.

I like how it seems that Kinn is completely shifting gears to kiss Porsche's forehead.

He isn't.

They're being soft and cute, and Porsche is vibing and being playful with Kinn. Kinn sees it and his face sort of falls slightly because he wants to protect this version of Porsche. The soft, happy and smiling version of him.

It becomes a moment of taking him in, feeling what he feels for Porsche, anchoring himself with his hand on Porsche's shoulder, heads gently leant against each other before the kiss to his forehead. It's a display of affection but also a hope that Porsche will be okay and he'll still be this Porsche at the end.

They really understood the assignment of physical touch is a love language. It's so beautiful to watch.

I love Porche but I also love Kinn and I am really getting annoyed with only Kinn taking a bashing for the bathroom scene so here goes. What Kinn said and did in that bathroom pre sexy times with Porche was wrong. I understand his motivation 100% but it is still wrong. What Porche said about Tawan was JUST as wrong. He does not know what really happened. He is basing his total opinion on this situation off of a statement by one person: Vegas, the guy who literally just tried to assault him and who was making Porche uncomfortable in the bar. He tried to hurt Kinn because he was hurting and he hit a bullseye and Kinn lashed out. Did Kinn deserve the slap? Yep especially because he was being a hypocritical jerk who was not letting Porche explain the situation. But Kinn had every right to get mad at Porche because he was ALSO being a hypocritical jerk who did not wait for Kinn's explanation. They are both flawed characters but I am getting annoyed with the Fandom taking away Porche's agency in the mess he creates. Neither one of them deserved to hear what they heard and BOTH should have apologized. Kinn did and yet Kinn is the one getting the most crap. Frustrating!
