I think it’s hilarious that the primes were all treated as long gone legends, lost to time, and then there’s the guard who knew all of them (probably personally) and just never mention that fact. Could you imagine Megatron going all “Tell me about Megatronus” and he’s expecting kickass war stories or battle techniques and all Starscream or anyone can think of is that time Megatronus hit his head on a doorframe so hard he passed out

Seeing everyone's reactions to the TFOne movie made me want to make memes lol. Some may be spoilers if you haven't seen it, so be warned.
forever thinking about D-16’s “I want to kill him.” monologue. that initial line hit so hard. it was a line that made me think There He Is. because, yeah, that’s the megatron we know. that’s the megatron that worked in the mines, and when cybertron’s government turned its back on him, his rage won out. he devoted his life to something for nothing, for a world that didn’t give a damn about him. the story may have changed, but the essence of his origin is still there.

Was thinking about TF One, how it fits into the larger cannon/lore, and omg… the 86 movie. If these two pieces of TF history were to be connected in some way it would make Optimus and Megatrons final fight in Autobot City so much more impactful.
Billions of years of war and conflict all culminated on a single battlefield. Optimus arrives to earth after a sudden distress signal and sees so many fallen cybertronians, and a destroyed city that was meant to be a fresh start. What could be running through his mind? Is he regretting Megatron and the high guard being exiled instead of imprisoned? Does he think back to how he could’ve gotten regular seats at the Iacon 5000? Does he even regret just meeting D-16 at all? Who knows… it doesn’t matter, Optimus is witnessing history repeating itself. This war has been stuck in a constant cycle since the death of Sentinel and it is time to end it. For him, D-16 was lost centuries ago, and now Megatron must be stopped no matter the cost.
I have many good things to say about TF One. The characterizations, the animation, the jokes, THE LORE. But my favourite, and the thing that makes me thank hasbro everyday since watching it, is that they gave every single robot in this movie the sluttiest waists imaginable.

Every day I am in complete and utter awe at how deeply ingrained into transformers as a franchise robotfucking is. G1 had two different episodes about cybertronian x human pairings. At least one dude on the beast wars animation team wanted to fuck dinobot enough to lovingly render him posing with his spike out, blackarachnia's design was based off a stripper, and they wrote rattrap as a shameless pervert. RiD 2001 had Sideburn and his only personality trait was being horny all the fucking time. TFA Blackarachnia was somehow hornier than the original and it felt like Some Gay Shit happened about every 20 minutes in that show. The entire team for TFP agreed knockout was the sexiest robot they'd ever fucking seen and decided to let him try to seduce half the cast, and then casually canonize the word "interfacing" as slang for sex, AND THEN steve blum decided to play starscream like its the porn parody of the actual show. Half of rescue bots feels like slow burn human x cybertronian gay fanfic. IDW not only knows you want to fuck those robots but actively encourages you to fuck those robots because Alex Milne keeps dropping softcore robot porn zines at cons. I haven't finished earthspark but I know that dad wanted bumblebee's dick like crazy and the only reason he hasn't pursued it is because he's happily married.
Literally the only tf show I've seen that ISNT that horny is cyberverse, and that show is still ASTOUNDINGLY gay.
I'll be reading valveplug fics, and any and all shame I would usually feel at sexualizing cartoon robots is evaporated when i remember that a nonzero amount of people working for hasbro are sexualizing the robots too. They're hot by design, your honor.
