Blog Announcement | Candy Cane Continuation?

Previously there has been requests to continue one of my 2016 Winter Stars scenarios for Candy Cane

Summary line: Christmas Prompt #19: Character A doesn’t feel the Christmas spirit but Character B, who lives above them, keeps playing Christmas carols really loud. (Mafia!Namjoon)

After some considerations, I’ve decided to not continue it.

I originally did not intend for this or any of my other Winter Stars scenarios to be any longer than one scenario.

I have thought about how I would continue it, which the plot I came up with would end up a long-term fanfiction, which is not a format I really want to do right now because I already have another mafia!bts/con.artist!bts fanfiction on my back burners.

The plot I came up with is tbh, a really interesting plot, I cannot lie. Also, Candy Cane is one of my personal favorites and recommended. But I’m afraid I can’t even live up to my own expectation with how I want to go with that plot.

Most importantly, I’m afraid that if I continue it, it’s going to be like watching a really, really, really awesome movie and then the directors make a whole new franchise just to milk it but it will never beat the original

I’m sorry if I’ve disappointed you, but I really hope you understand.

Something I will offer though, is that if and when I find prompts or drabbles list that I’m ready to do, I fully support and encourage you to send in the “candy.cane!namjoon” au as one of the au choices for those prompts. (I’d rather not call that as mafia!namjoon because I already have another mafia!namjoon.) If not, just send in some really cute inspirations for me to write for that au ☺

(This whole announcement/notice also concerns all other 2016 Winter Stars scenarios, such as Tail of Good Deeds, which people also had interests in continuations. that au can be shorthanded as “tails!jimin”)

I imagine Taehyung is the kind of boyfriend who will have a secret code between you and him. Like one of you will shout, “Deploy Human Shield”, and the other will stand in front of that person like a security guard, deflecting anything coming your way or simply prevent being noticed by someone

1) Thank you for replying ! I'll check that when tomorrow morning haha ! Also, if you don't feel ready for a whole fan fiction, then don't write it. It's better than just starting it and leaving it on hiatus because you can't keep on going with the story or because you don't have the time or whatever reason ! I’ll figure out what I want to do, don’t worry :) You’re no bother. It’s good to talk it out anyway. I kind of feel bad to leave you still hanging with my answer though
