This is 100% fucking true, and it's bullshit that people are that way. I have had MANY similar instances to that. The standards are too high for me and many other mentally ill people I know. That is not me saying that you should just excuse everything a person does because they're mentally ill. I think that there should be compassion and understanding for mentally ill people, not judgment and othering of them.

Ppl will be like “end the stigma around mental illness uwu” but still judge you if you’re unemployed or single or not completely self-sufficient or healthy or perfectly groomed or still live with parents and don’t see the hypocrisy in that whatsoever

Pre-menstrual depression is always depicted as like "He He! I had a box of icecream bars and cried while watching the Titanic!" But in reality, it's more like, "I'm standing the edge of an abyss. There is nothing good inside of me, I'm filled with rage and desperation."

It's crazy that being told how to deal with that is never a part of anyone's menstrual sex education.
