i drew lance for his birthday yesterday. i dont think ive done anything more than a sketch for voltron since, like. 2017. i dont know what came over me

newt's leg headcanons

(as someone who also walks with a limp)

on occasion he is completely out of commission for the day (which is understandable, except for the fact that he's usually faking the pain level because he has a high pain tolerance - he just doesn't want to work)

he used to have a cane that he fashioned out of a tree branch but eventually got sick of it because he didn't want to have to depend on a big stick anymore

back when he did use the cane, he used to whack other kids in the backs of the knees when they pissed him off

plays the disability card 24/7 in order to steal other boys' seats

is generally surprised that he only has one bum leg

alby patrols him to make sure he's not overstressing his leg

doesn't sleep in the homestead majority of the time and goes in there as little as possible because there are stairs in there and he'd rather demolish his other leg than have to go up and down stairs every day
