warning: this is based off of my knowledge from years ago!

Young Richie Tozier:

Whether or not you're were a part of the Losers' Club, you'd never made fun of his glasses or teeth! Even though he'd still has a crush on Eddie, he's very attached to you. You're not bothered by his foul language! You've laughed at some of his jokes(even if they're unfunny to everyone else.)! You'd might've even saved him and the others from being beaten by Bowers's gang!

In his opinion, you're his best friend(he definitely made sure he's your only friend too)! Though the strangest thing about your friendship is how possessive he is with you. Even with the Losers's Club is on thin ice with him, and they were his best friends before you! He limits their interactions with you, isolating you from the main group he hangs out with. When asked about it, he ignores the question and makes jokes to make you laugh, hoping you'll forget about it.

And when he encounters IT for the first time he tells you, whether or not you'd known about IT. He'd tell you EVERYTHING about the Losers' Club encounters with IT. The second time he encountered IT, it switched forms between you and Eddie, into luring him alone.

And when the Losers's Club separates the first person he goes to is you. His one true friend. His only friend.

But when Beverly is taken, you're with Richie at the arcade when Ben recruits him to get her back. He's reluctant to leave you alone but doesn't want you to go with them either. It was hard to leave you alone, but he ultimately did, and he's thankful that he did. He wouldn't ever want you to see what they went through.

Older Richie Tozier:

He's finally a fairly popular comedian, something you encouraged him to pursue! At this point you both live together, even when he had S/Os. But to him, those relationships were pointless if they weren't you. He sabotaged your previous relationships over those years, even when he was in a relationship himself. He'd convince that your S/O is cheating, abusing, or even isolating you from him. After all your Best Friend knows what's best, right?

And when Mike calls for them to come back, he doesn't even tell you where he's gone to. It hurt him to leave you without telling you, but, he had a bad feeling about that call.

Through out the whole thing he only thought of you to calm himself down. To keep him going. His thoughts of finally confessing his feelings for you, marrying you, and living an idealistic life with you is closer than ever.

After paying tribute to Eddie, he goes home to you. You worried and tired. When you see him dirty and tired himself, you both cry. Then and there after hours of crying, he asks you to go on a date with him. You jokingly had said you both already are at this point. Married even. He felt a sickening sense of delight when you had said that... Now you're stuck with him forever.
