I complain about this every week but I REALLY DON’T understand why there have to be U.S. versions of U.K. shows. Wanting to “make the shows more accessible to an American audience” isn’t even a valid argument because it’s not like Skins is filmed on Jupiter; it’s England, for fuck’s sake. And it isn’t as if the humor doesn’t translate. If anything, the humor in British television is better than the humor in American television.
