It's probably stupid, sneaking out in the middle of the night. Just Van, and Tai, and a stolen joint. And all those stars.

“You ever think about how weird it would be if stars were fish?” Van asks, which is the second clue as to just how high she is.

The first clue is the way she pillows her head on Tai’s stomach, heedless of anyone who might round the corner on them. The first clue Tai is just as high is how little that idea scares her.

a not admitting of the wound (chapter 1/2) — post s2, where the murder plotline was less neatly tied up. time for a road trip! tai x van but also importantly callie

‘we have like five fucking minutes to get out of here,’ and tai looks at you like you’re insane. ‘we’re going on the run?’ she says, twisting the words in her mouth like it’s something dirty. ‘no,’ you say, peering out of the window at the four police cars between you and your car. ‘you’re already there, babe.’

sorta funny story i randomly feel like telling: my mother loves horror movies so when i was like 9 she gave me a bunch of stephen king books/movies to read/watch, trying to instill a love for the horror genre

anyways one day in school we had an assignment to ‘come up with our own original story’ but i was feeling lazy and just basically copied part of the plot to ‘the shining’ and combined it with part of the plot to ‘misery’ and handed it in (it was a little bit graphic for a nine year old, i’ll admit)

well… guess who got a trip to the counselors office! they started asking me all sorts of questions about my story and *i* thought they were trying to get me to admit that i plagiarized so i refused talk about it. TURNS OUT they actually didn’t make the connection that it was stephen king and they thought it was a cry for help. they sent me to in-school counseling for a month before someone finally figured it out and called my mother and told her not to give me any more stephen king books
