Today was going to be a long day. At least , that’s what Lopez said. When he arrived to work she could tell it was one of those days. “It’s normal for Tim to come in when he’s sick, If he hasn’t thrown up, he’s fine. And he’s too stubborn to take Advil or Tylenol.” she had warned Robin, not that Tim was aware of this.

So here we are. It’s nearing 4 hours into the 12 hour shift. 12:08.

“How exactly does your tummy hurt??” Robin turns to Tim, raising an eyebrow.

“Okay, my ‘tummy,” he pauses side eyeing Robin, doing air quotes with one hand while he drives. “does not hurt. I feel nauseous. That’s all.”
