So, the final season, huh?  A bit of my views and opinions: as a season, it was a good one, but as a series finale, I have expected a bit more. The ending was a bit rushed and the evil Carmen plot could have been longer. I can definitely see a whole season with evil Carmen’s shenanigans and the crew trying to get her back. It would also be interesting to see what would have happened if the ACME device hadn’t worked on her. She would probably have to overcome the brainwashing on her own (and the help of her friends). By the way, I craved for the proper hug with Dadowsan, but dear God, this angsty one got me like ;-; I’m glad we didn’t learn Carmen’s and Player’s names - I like to imagine that they told one another their birth names, but still prefered using the names they assigned to themselves. However, I am bitter that we didn’t get to see Carmen’s mother face. Yes, we got the glimpses from the photos, but COME ON, I wanted to see her shocked face and cry all over again. I knew that neither of ships would become canon, so I wasn’t disappointed in this area (ALTHOUGH, I definitely wouldn’t mind if the ship with Julia was more hinted, like Le Chevre and El Topo’s one) I really hope Carmen not only stayed in touch with everybody she met along the way, but that also that she contacted them regularly, because I’m really weak for the found family trope. I was hoping to see ilustrations that would appear during the credits which would give us some glimpses of what happened after the show, but oh well, there was none. What are your thoughts on this season?
