Your honor. I have so many thoughts about Nori as a mom. So many. Too many.

Personal headcanon says that Nori was in Uzi's life for only her first year of living. She wanted to be part of much, much more - but when she realized that her visions were becoming reality - and I personally think that Uzi had a mini episode involving the Solver symbol over her visor as a baby like that one shot in ep. 2 so - when she realized her struggles, her fight with the Solver isn't over and has now only been spread to her child, her little girl, she knew she had to go back. She had to find that patch; she could not let this demon torture her baby the same way it tortured her. She knew about the puppet hosts - she would be fine.

At least, she thought she would be. Turns out they're stronger in person. Or I suppose, in drone? Idk

But aside from all of that, I've seen a lot of hcs that Yeva had Doll first and it made Nori realize that maybe she could move on too, and I completely agree. I think she was genuinely worried about being a mom - she'd never admit it, but she was terrified of messing this up somehow. Even after she and Khan had spliced their code into the kid, she was still somewhat anxious to boot her up. But when she came online and Nori was able to look her in the eyes, all of the mom brain kicked in. This was her daughter.

And damn it, she was going to be the absolute best to her that she could be.

I think that she was always very lighthearted with Uzi. Barely ever called her by her name in favor of a nickname - which I have executively decided is "Peanut" - and saved "Uzi" for either discussing her with someone or addressing her with concern. She recognized Uzi's intelligence the moment she started showing signs of it, and was just... so proud. So, so proud. Always.

Sometimes she fell asleep curled around Uzi's form if she were alone with her for too long. She just. She loved her little girl. She was ready and willing to do anything for her. And that's why, when the Solver reared its ugly head, she went back. She had to go back. For her girl.
