Happy St. Patrick’s Day everybody!

This month in Green Bay, the snow is more than halfway done melting and getting my retreat’s construction is coming closer and closer! Last week I hiked out to the area I’m building and I noticed that only five inches of snow is left to melt. It’s been melting so much in fact, my right foot actually broke through the ice in the creek and got water in my shoe! So I’m so happy that spring is coming as fast as it can here in Wisconsin and that not much snow will be expected in the next seven days!

I have recently started campaigning (on twitter, at least) to make #FreeThePenis a real movement, and I will not stop. I wanted to explain what it is really about, in a nutshell. 

There’s plenty of female nudity in movies, on television, in the media and so on, while a nude male is rarely seen, especially full frontal. Shouldn’t the playing field be more levelled ? Is there even a good reason for this inequality ? Why are nude women ok to be seen (and are objectified, which is wrong), while nude men are considered (insert shameful adjective) ? 

I think it is simply unfair (to both women and men), and I know that a certain Emilia Clarke really agrees with me. We have to free the penis ! We have to have a more balanced approach to on-screen nudity. As simple as that.

Now, I have talked to a few people and opinions are mixed about on screen nudity, some think there’s more males shown naked. Either way though, they show very little nudity, and it seems to be always sex. Nudity doesn’t equal sex, period. We should see other activities as well with nudity, and they should show, and not shamefully hide, the beautiful human body. And for the record, I’m with #FreeTheNipple & #FreeTheVulva as well, let’s have nudity equality.
