Summary: Logan is tired of being ignored and silenced.

Logan stared at the others as they argued.

"Virgil, I think we should-" Virgil cut him off.

"Not a good time, L." Logan turned to Patton.

"Patton, please listen to me-"

"We can't logic our way out of this one, Lo, I'm sorry." His final choice was to turn to Thomas.

"Thomas, maybe we should-"

"Logan, let them handle this one, okay? This isn't really your thing."

Logan felt hot tears burning his eyes. He glanced down at the cuts on his wrists. Nobody noticed the marks. He pulled out a notebook and pen and began to write.

Dear friends,

By the time you read this, I will likely be gone. I am so sorry I was such a burden on you all this time. I understand now that I was useless from the beginning. You do not need me, and I know it now. That why I have done this. There must have been a reason you ignored me. What I said was not important. I was not important.

He tore the page out of the notebook. But before sinking out, he tried one last time to make Thomas listen.

"Thomas, I really think you should listen to me-"

"Logan! We don't need you right now!" Thomas was growing impatient. That stunned Logan.

"Yeah, Microsoft Nerd, we never needed your opinion!"

"Shut up, nerdy wolverine."

"You just aren't important, Logan," Janus said. "You're useless to them. They hate you." Logan didn't know then that Janus was being Janus and lying.

The words stung, like being shot over and over again.

"Whatever! It doesn't matter to me anyway! I'll be dead by dawn!" He held up the note. "I'll be dead by dawn!" He sunk out.

"'I'll be dead by dawn?' What does that mean?" Patton asked.

"I don't know," Roman answered. Janus thought about it. He thought about the note Logan held and the marks on his wrists and the last words he said, and he gasped.

"Oh my God!"

"What?!" Thomas asked.

"He said, 'I'll be dead by dawn.' Don't you get what that means?" The other sides shook their head except for Remus.

"Oh God no. Logan!"

"I don't get it," Virgil said.

"He's going to kill himself! He was holding a suicide note, and didn't you see the cuts on his wrists?"

The reality of the situation sunk into the sides, but it was just a moment too late when it did. They were just a moment too late when they broke down the bathroom door.
