The Way Dick Was Staring At Kory So Intensely, With So Much Adoration (& Passion ) At The Dinner Table
The way Dick was staring at Kory so intensely, with so much adoration (& passion 🤭) at the dinner table and later on the bridge, really made my heart skip a beat.
Like some have mentioned, he rarely openly show's affection like that but of course Kory is the exception, as usual.
I know some ppl were bummed he didn't say "I love you" but I'd argue this whole damn season was him prooving that he indeed does love and is IN love with Kory without a doubt. Same for her. It was very clear in the final episode, that they were in love with eachother and both finally admitting it, even if those exact words weren't said.
Idk, sometimes it really doesn't need to be spelled out like that.
Although, I do think had we gotten another season we would've heard the explicit ILU's especially if we were supposed to actually get Mar'i 🥹.
Anyways, Dick was staring at Kory like she was the main entrée at dinner loll like damn your children are right there sir.
Then on the bridge when he oh so smoothly, strongly suggested they start making babies immediately. He was so serious he had our girl Kory shook 🤣. If they had kissed after that stare, I wouldn't have been surprised but the way Dick was acting it might've turned into some public indecency loll.
I also thought it was really cute they alluded back to season one when Kory bought Dick that alcohol to figure out his "secrets" and see his "moves".
Kory was so adorable being like "Hey let me buy you a coffee," but Dick really said nah buy me another drink so we can get hot & heavy 💀. The boldness, compared to his normal demeanor, was giving me whiplash in a good way. I'm just so glad they got to be together and happy in the end~💙💜
You know what I loved about Dick in the last few scenes is his intensity. He wasn’t flirting like earlier in the season he was being bold and straight forward. For one he was the one making her blush and giggle.
They show their love so loudly that I’m not super pressed about them saying “I thought I lost you” instead of ILY. But I do agree they’d say it in season 5 when they were settled into a relationship.
I wish we got a full season of them as a couple but I’m not holding that against the writers. They aren’t the ones who cancelled the show. What they did here is give us a clear glimpse into their future and showed us how far Dick will go to protect Kory. Like we knew it but seeing him be so open and concerned for her was beautiful. They way Kory was brought out of that spell in 4x08 because of Dicks feelings for her? Beautiful.
Dick asking Kory for a real drink + saying they should get started on Mar’i is hilarious. Like he went 0-100. And I love how Kory knew him wanting a drink means he’s propositioning her 😅
Like sure I want season 5 with Mar’i but season 4 with Dicks desperation to save her and Kory willing to give up her life for him and the world…it was epic. I’ll miss them.

The gop voted to remove Justin Jones and another democrat who is also a black man but they decided to allow the 3rd democrat who is a white woman to stay despite the fact that she has a history of being disruptive. This is political lynching and if they can do this in Tennessee than they can do it anywhere .

In an extraordinary act of political retaliation, Tennessee Republicans on Thursday expelled a Democratic lawmaker from the state Legislature for his role in a protest that called for more gun control in the aftermath of a deadly school shooting in Nashville.
The GOP supermajority in the House declined by a single vote to expel a second Democrat. A vote against a third Democratic lawmaker was upcoming.
The 72-25 vote to banish Rep. Justin Jones was a move the chamber has used only a handful times since the Civil War. Most state legislatures possess the power to expel members, but it is generally reserved as a punishment for lawmakers accused of serious misconduct, not used as a weapon against political opponents.
