Firstly IU is adorable and secondly I’m not much for theorizing but this is one that so many of you believe y’all are starting to convince me. At least the numbers mean SOMETHING, right? Even if it isn’t star-crossed lovers mushy shit, there’s some reason those hooligans’ time stamps always seem to include the same damn numbers. Lol. Cute stuff!

I think it’s worth remembering as well that their Tokyo trip wasn’t just a few months ago, it was almost 6 YEARS (?!?!!!) ago — and still hearing that song brought Jungkook back and he instantly remembered it as the song of their trip 💜💛 (it’s funny when fans associate that song with them, and he clearly does too…;))

You’re so right ☺️ that’s sort of what made me wonder if maybe they discovered that song on that trip or maybe just listened to it a lot while they were there or something. And then maybe that’s why he wanted it to be the soundtrack for the GCF. Idk why, but I always sort of assumed that he picked that song during the editing process because it fit the vibe and he liked the lyrics and maybe because it fit what was in his heart, but it adds a whole other layer to realize that in his mind, it seems like he associates the song with the trip, not the video — if that makes sense? So then makes me think there might be some inside story as to why that song and that trip are connected for him/them.

And IF that’s the case (that he picked it to be the soundtrack because of their experience of the song together) then it means it likely resonated even more with Jimin/ had one more extra layer of meaning when he watched it. Which is sweet to ponder.

I mean isn't it so weird and strange that Rm asked both of them that?? Why would he ask something like that if jikook were actually a couple?? Doesn't rm know that they were dating or maybe jikook actually not together that is why rm asked them that like in a teasing way which normally friends do when you saw ur other friends wear something matching. This moment always makes me confused.

I might be the wrong person to ask cause I’m of the opinion that if they’re dating they probably didn’t actually make anything official or formally tell other members until much more recently than a lot of other jikookers think. I personally think they probably wavered in the not-quite-just-friends-but-not-quite-dating space for quite a while, years in fact, and I think it’s where a lot of the awkwardness/palpable tension and nervousness in some of their early interactions stemmed from.

And Namjoon’s question still remains — why did they do that stuff? The matchy-matchy couple-y stuff? Cause they didn’t exactly say “no” did they 😅

I might have mentioned this before but I don’t go around looking for single moments to “debunk” the theory that Jimin and Jung Kook have something romantic going on. I’m not that insecure, at least not anymore haha. To me it’s obvious, from their behavior and treatment of each other when you look at them as a whole and not through some skeptical, conspiracy-theorist lens. Think what you want but any attempts to get me to go “omg you’re right it must all be a sham and I imagined everything” are gonna fall flat every time. It is what it is, friend 🫤
