Ok can we talk about how briarlight was so hated by the warriors fandom? Or was it just me. Idk if im misremembering or if im getting her mixed up with dovewing or someone else (which would make sense because dovewing is in a very similar situation of being hated because her sister is loved), but I remember didn't like Briar for this reason back when I was like 10 or 11, and I swear that I remember others posting about how they felt this way too, which is what influenced me to think that way. I feel like especially earlier in the fandom people hated briarlight because of how millie treated her siblings, so people blamed briarlight instead of millie, when it wasn't Briarlight's fault and if anyone millie should have been blamed. Anyway, if anyone wants to make a video essay on this, I'd love to watch it lmao. I’ve been looking at a lot of like paleontology and biology stuff recently, but uh.

I’d like it if the clan cats due to the amount of time they’ve spent in nature were literally new breeds of cat built to better survive in their territories with unique features. Like, it’d be interesting if the reason as to why the clans aren’t destroying the ecosystem is because they’ve become apart of it somehow, even though naturally cats are an invasive species — it could add to a bit of the StarClan magic, the forest in a way needs something to keep life in check so it brings in the cats and changes them.

And by different breeds I mean they are distinct from normally developed house cat breeds. “Feral” cat breeds have occasionally popped up in areas before, like in Greece, so this isn’t out of the question. I just wanna play around a bit with my basic understanding of these sciences, especially evolution and how things change to better adapt to their environments. I already have a little bit of info on RC and TC, so I guess if anyone’s interested I can post it, and maybe doodle a little hypothetical blueprint for their visuals. RC is the one I've developed the most, specifically because their lives are so different from the other clans that I felt they’d likely have physically changed more.
