Sonic isn't that much of a singer. Sure, he sometimes taps to make a rhythm but that's mostly it! Besides, not like he can sing anyways with how his voice is gone.

After meeting Tails, he learned how much the fox cub doesn't like sounds.

He never asked why, he think that wasn't his business but he found it concerning when the cub freaks out over some bushes moving because of the wind or when he accidentally step on a stick.

Though, he always like it when Sonic taps. He sometimes join in too just to make a song without any lyrics.

Sonic loves those simple moments when Tails show comfort and trust near him. That means he's doing something right for this kid. His kid.

When Sonic started speaking, the both of them were so thrilled even if Sonic was having trouble getting used to it. Tails was patient with him through the entire time.

After a few years, Sonic started actually singing, especially with his guitar.

He never knew how much he loves to sing until then, music was amazing! Even Tails agree whenever Sonic sing him a lullaby to sleep.

His big brother would hold him as he make up random songs just so the kit can feel at ease and go to sleep with sweet dreams, it works. It always did, no matter what. It was like Sonic was made for this.

Sonic never cried while singing even if he sometimes feel emotional but he sure as hell is doing it now as he hold the kit in his arms.

There was blood, so much blood. Blood never made Sonic sick to the stomach until now, because blood is staining his kiddo's fur.

"You are my sunshine, My only sunshine.." usually whenever Sonic sings, it would sound joyful and peaceful, but now? It was full of sadness and sorrow. "You make me happy when skies are gray.."

Tails cuddle up in his arms as he held onto his older brother, letting out contact purrs even if he's in pain, his chest was cover in too much blood that his white fluffy chest wasn't all that white anymore. That damn pipe was stick into him.

"You'll never know, dear, how much I love you.." Sonic place a few kisses on Tails face as he held his little brother, his kid, his little sunshine in his arms.

"P-Please..Please don't take..my sunshine away.." he was silently pleading any God not to take his sunshine away from him but he knows they won't answer.

"The— The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping.." he cups Tails' face as he looks at those ocean eyes. "I dreamed I held you in my arm, when I awoke, dear, I was mistaken," when Tails let out a whine, Sonic nuzzles his forehead. "So I hung my head and..I cried."

He didn't know when Tails gripped loosen but he just held on tight as he hums. Even if Tails isn't hearing him anymore, he'll keep singing for him.

Even if it means his voice will be gone again.

Ahhhh my sonic movie/tails hyperfixation is returning at full force. Imagine Tom and Maddie getting Ozzie signed up for the process of becoming a therapy dog after seeing him help Tails recover from a panic attack.

And imagine Maddie going full mama bear mode when she hears that Shadow hurt tails during their first fight.

"Yeah he grabbed my tails and threw me away-"

"HE DID WHAT?!?!"

*Shadow 100 miles away starts sweating* "Why do I hear boss music?"

Listen we had Sonic and Tom in a car, Knuckles and Wade in a car, I WANNA SEE MADDIE AND TAILS IN A CAR PLEASE!!!!!!

OMG IMAGINE RANDALL AND SHADOW HAVING A FATHER SON MOMENT SINCE RANDALL IS A GUN AGENT AND CAUSE HE KNOWS SHADOW HATES GUN WANTS TO TRY AND CALM HIM DOWN!!!!!

I NEED THIS MOVIE NOW!!!!!
