I wasn’t really happy with my understanding of the short skeleton, so I decided that some dedicated anatomical study was called for.
As a side note, never be afraid to look up reference when you don’t understand how something is supposed to work in a drawing. The ability to look stuff up and work from observation is a bona-fide artistic superpower, except it’s one you can develop without narrative intervention. Or should I say…
