You know what? Fuck the obey me storyline! I’m going to dedicate this blog to re-writing it now like the weirdo I am!

Starting with the Celestial Realm and all our beloved (and not so beloved) angels, then to Lilith’s romance and the Celestial War paired with the fall and Satan’s “birth” all the way down to Nightbringer!

I have no clue why I would want to do this as I’m no longer infatuated with the game, but I know that most people (as well as myself) were extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with Solomare’s writing of the games story.

THANK YOU. i’m so tired of seeing people diluting Lucifer down to this one-sided, one-dimensional “mean big brother” when he’s far more nuanced than that, especially in OG.

It saddens me that lots of people think Lucifer is some sort of evil abuser who is mean for no reason… Well, the Nightbringer version might be like that now, since a bunch of characters were completely rewritten, but the original Lucifer I knew was different. This Lucifer went to war and sold himself into eternal servitude to Diavolo to keep his loved ones safe. This Lucifer tried to reign in the chaotic behaviors of his brothers to prevent them from causing harm to themselves and others, even if his brothers hated him for it (yeah, he does go overboard, especially for Mammon, but Mammon’s greed made him a serial troublemaker who never seems to learn from his mistakes). This Lucifer lost his temper when he thought MC was trying to control or harm his brothers, and being the strongest of them, he could have pushed past his brothers standing in his way and killed the MC if he really wanted to, but he didn’t. Sorry for the rant, couldn’t help myself… It’s just sad that people make our Lucifer to be more evil than he really is and ignore all the sacrifices he’s made for others.
