why didnt they just let sam and bucky “die” together or at the very least Not have sam turn to dust alone in some ditch like thats really what im Most upset about and what i keep going back to. he shouldve died by steve too!!! he literally signed up for this mess bc of his love and trust towards steve, he helped in catws bc he trusted steve despite not trusting bucky (and also being retired!!) and he became a fugitive and went to prison, bc the accords were bullshit, but also bc he trusted steves judgement and knew bucky was innocent now. people are saying all the people that turned to dust were with people they loved But sam wasnt with anyone!!! and thats so Upsetting!! having sam and bucky die together in front of steve wouldve had such a deep emotional impact but they just had him die alone ?? and had steve give the weakest reaction possible. like sam was really paid dust both literally and figuratively. and in conclusion, i am Sad .
