You know how in all of the cannon crossovers one version always ends up getting simplified and kind of made fun of??

Like when the 87 turtles were in TMNT 12??

I think it would be really funny if there was a Rise/2012 crossover (from the rise perspective)

And It just really leaned into how traumatized the 2012 boys really are

Rise guys hearing conflicting stories about 12! Splinters death, just to find it’s because he died four times.

12 boys teasing their Leo for always making the “hero move” come to find out he’s sacrificed himself eight times (yea I counted)

12 boys jokingly mentioning the times they’ve died and come back to life

Or the time they watched the earth blow up

They all, specifically Raph and Leo, find the Rise boys reactions funny and start leaning into it more, making things up to get a reaction

The Rise boys can’t tell when they’re kidding

2012 Donnie is honestly a sassy little shit like I'd forgotten about just how sarcastic he could be like moments like-

"They had a force field?!? Donnie why didn't you tell me?!?!"

"Oh because I'd wanted us to fail. OBVIOUSLY I DIDN'T KNOW-"

Or-

"Donnie what's going on down there??"

"A Kraang sweet sixteenth birthday party!! How am I supposed to know?!?"

Or-

"Gentlemen.....and Raph."

Like he's so fucking snarky and it's hilarious and I keep forgetting that he's like this till I'm reminded of it and I sometimes wonder how he became so sassy before I remember.....

Leo and Raph are his older brothers.

He most likely learned to be snarky from them. Because Leo and Raph when given the chance literally murder people with their smartass remarks and sarcastic comments. He grew up with these two snarky older brothers who sass each other and others and murder people with words and he went-

"I wanna learn the language of the sarcasm."

And by God he fucking did it and now Leo and Raph pay for it dearly and it's comedy gold I'm telling y'all.
