I want to make a fem!Tim fic inspired by the movie Priscilla but I can't decide who should be the male lead... So I'm asking you! Who do you think would steal Timothea & turn her into his perfect bride? 🥰

Hace tiempo estaba pensando, en como Ra's y Tim encajan en una temática al estilo "canterella" (de vocaloid). Ya sabes, en canterella, lo que parece ser una figura pública, y narrador de esta historia, cae enfermo de amor y obsesión por un ser al que no puede simplemente robar ó no puede actuar tan públicamente, así que la intenta seducir de manera discreta, con pequeños juegos, desde la sombra; aunque parece que la otra persona, la dueña de su obsesión, es consciente de esto y juega con el narrador de esta historia, nuestro narrador [en el que personalmente siempre pensé como un duque] presa del miedo de perder a la dueña de sus pensamientos y lujuria decide le quitara la oportunidad de rechazar lo, así que la envenena y la "encadena" (de manera metafórica y literalmente) robando su última opción (y abusa de esta persona)

Algo similar pasa con Ra's y Tim de todas formas, en los nuevos 52, Ra's intenta por todos los medios posibles obtener la lealtad de Tim, pero, el joven detective no es como los otros, no bastan pequeños juegos bien elaborados o alagos endulzados, necesita algo más, pero, no lo consigue, Tim juega de la misma manera que el, destruye su equipo y lo abandona, así que Ra's no permite que, por decisión propia, lo abandone por completo, decide matarlo, para así poder quitarle algo a Bruce como a Tim. No es tan raro, es la misma dinámica de Esmeralda y Frolo "se mía o arderas" mejor dicho, quédate conmigo o se castigada por no hacerlo, perece con la muerte.

Primero que nada: NO TE DISCULPES!!! Adoro poder hablar con los demás, especialmente en español. Simplemente me llena de alegría poder escuchar (leer) a otras personas. Me recuerda que hay gente leyendo lo que escribo, y que somos más que simples likes y tags.

Ahora sí, sobre Ra'sTim: Efectivamente, tienen una vibra a Cantarella. Curiosamente esa canción la he sentido tanto Ra'sTim como JeanTim, pero siento que con Ra's hace más sentido todo el tiempo, y no solo cuando está abrumado por su lado "oscuro". Ra's no es un hombre acostumbrado a que le digan que no, y Tim es alguien que disfruta la atención y de enrollar a la gente en su dedo. Es difícil saber quién es el gato y quién es el ratón, pero es claro que Ra's siempre estará dispuesto a llegar más lejos, o al menos eso pienso yo.

Me es difícil tener una visión *establecida* de cómo se desenvuelven. A veces siento que Tim, consciente de que Ra's tiene debilidad por él, comienza la seducción a propósito (quizás como un juego, quizás en serio, quizás queriendo algo a cambio). Otras veces creo que Ra's simplemente iría a por Tim y se lo robaría. A veces pienso que ambos quieren lastimar a Bruce, y a veces pienso que les da lo mismo. Es tan complicado, pero creo que si algo tendrán siempre en mi mente y letras es que están obsesionados mutuamente.

Ra's, el hombre que quería vivir para siempre. Tim, el chico que solo quería morir. Amándose con crueldad y pasión, como cuchillos clavados en el corazón.

After the events of Red Robin, Babs and Luke inform Jean-Paul of the issues and problems going on among the bats. During a mission, Bruce got hurt again and has been benched, meaning the situation of "Dick covering for Batman" is once again back in town. This creates a lot of tension among Dick, Damian, Tim, Jason and Bruce, making it almost impossible for them to work together.

Having their hands full with actual city saving, Luke and Babs called JP to ask him to go back and help for a while. Luke does apologize for it, since he knows JP is way happier in Europe and working on his own. It's not that JP doesn't like Gotham, but he grew tired of Bruce and Dick treating him like trash, so he left months after Jason had that - violent encounter with Tim on Titans Tower.

Jean-Paul admits that was part of the problem too; he didn't like it that Bruce seemed so at peace with Tim getting hurt. And Tim... Tim allowed Bruce to ignore his pain. That was maddening, btw, and Jean-Paul had snapped a few times against Tim, screaming that he shouldn't let Bruce walk over him.

Whatever. Jean-Paul had left. He went to Europe and traveled, getting rid of the order of st. Dumas by himself alone, and then getting rid of other groups equally awful and cruel. It was a tiring, slow job. He traveled a lot, and from time to time visited Brian in Spain to chat, but mostly he focused on ending the cycle of violence that he had been raised into. Eventually he did, and just months later, Luke and Babs call.

Being back in Gotham is - weird. It has been years, and Jean-Paul feels uncomfortable around Jason and Damian. His dislike towards Dick hasn't lowered, and it has stayed as a mutual feeling, although JP can't help to feel a bit of pity for Dick when he sees how tired and old Dick looks once he takes off the Batman cowl. But hey, didn't Dick argue that JP wasn't worthy? Then perhaps he should carry the weight of the mantle he insisted JP tainted.

Mostly, JP doesn't like being back at Gotham. Until he sees Tim.

Tim, who has - grown into such a smart, beautiful and sassy young man. Tim, who wears eyeliner, mascara and red lipstick. Tim, with acrilic nails as sharp as Catwoman's. Tim, with a perfume even more hypnotizing than Poison Ivy. Tim, lethal and beautiful. Tim, that makes JP's knees tremble as if he's a teenage virgin boy.

And it gets worse when they start working together. Huge news! Ofc JP had been called back because Tim refused to work with the bats anymore, and it's JP's duty to work with him and push him back to Babs (she does understand that Tim doesn't want to be close to the others, but she worries about Tim being alone, and doesn't want him going out without any support). And doing that is hell, because JP falls hard and deep for Tim.

JP is sure that he was completely whipped by the end of the third week working together. Maybe even sooner.

That's how Luke learns about it, since JP is awful at hiding his crushes. And Luke has the nerve to laugh, telling JP to ask Tim out as if Tim wasn't way out of JP's league! Does Luke enjoy seeing him suffering? JP thinks he will go crazy if he has to hear one more phrase about taking risks...

And yet JP follows Luke's advice: He asks Tim out.

He asks Tim out in a chat. A grupal chat. With Luke on it. And maybe he's hugging his cat George all the time while waiting for Tim to reply.

Against all logic, Tim says yes, and then texts JP on their private chat (the one that's supposed to be used for cases only), saying just one sentence:

"You're adorable, Jean-Paul."

For the record, the first date goes great. JP manages to get to third base, and Tim smirks smugly while murmuring "Puppy" on JP's ear, nails holding his long blonde hair to keep him in place: At Tim's mercy.

Once again got all intense about how annoying Ra'sTim haters are. I'm remembering that time on Twitter not long ago when they were calling Ra'sTim i*cest... Yeah I know, Twitter is hell, but come on! 😭

I think it's particularly funny because Ra's is a man who reduces his family to his blood ties and even then he is picky. He *will* disown his children (not hurt them! Do not confuse it!) if he considers he has been betrayed so the proposition that he would see Tim as family... And that Tim would see Ra's as family! It's just so funny to me. Tell me you don't read comics without telling me you don't read comics.

I believe Tim and Ra's (before properly interacting) used to see each other as villain and hero. Period. Tim studies Batman's villains and cases so for him Ra's is synonym of bad guy, extremely dangerous, probably best if avoided. Ra's keeps an eye in all the bats, so Tim (still Robin) is a threat too: awfully loyal to the Batman, highly trained, more likely will provoke lots of damage and won't die. And that's mostly it, until Ra's is forced to meet the bats more frequently due to Damian going to live with Bruce. Ra's is more aware of Tim's abilities, and Tim is more aware of the danger Ra's represents, which I think explains why their meetings go as they do.

I don't think Ra's labels Tim as Damian's brother, but he might label Tim as Bruce's son. Which doesn't mean that makes Ra's *feel* like he's related to Tim, and similarly, Tim labels Ra's as Damian's grandfather, but nothing to him. There's no familiar tie between them, nor is their dynamic close to that, so I do wonder why people look at Ra's saying he wants a heir with Tim's blood and think that's familiar and not low-key homoerotic.

I get it if people dislike Ra'sTim due to the "dark" elements (tho I consider them very tame if compared to ships as Hannigram for example) but there's nothing on them that makes it "i*cest" so I do get mad when people accuse them of so. Particularly when it's the fans of certain Ra's' child and her ship who do so, as if Ra'sTim fandom doesn't actually treat her better than gen fans. Hell, Ra'sTim fics always lean in portraying her nicely, erasing the awkward comic canon and allowing her to have her classical bond with Damian. I have even seen certain tendency to ship her with Bruce (tho yes I admit most fandom goes with BatCat, myself included). So the fact that they have this need of hating Ra'sTim is annoying, because Ra'sTim is NOT the fandom treating their fav poorly nor doing anything wrong.

It's awful that we aren't allowed to like Ra's as his own character, that we aren't allowed to speak freely of the interesting elements of shipping him with MEN. Exploring a queer, individual Ra's al Ghul has taught me a lot about storytelling. Exploring an scenario where he falls in love with someone who contrasts with him the way Tim does has made me realize that fanfiction can be more than "I disliked the ending" and that you can write your own opinions on characters that sometimes other people share. It has been amazing and I adore it.

So what I'm trying to say is... People should stop being these loud, violent haters. There's no need for this. Why can't people let others enjoy themselves?
