Mayhem: *Looks at leash and glares at Raph*

Raph: Aw! Who’s a good dog or cat or tiger thingy? You are! Yes you are-

Mayhem: *Sighs and teleports away*

Raph: Ah, right.

And I think that's adorable✨

I came across a scene on YouTube with Crowley from "Good Omens" where he "talks" to his plants and I immediately thought of Donnie and his passion for botany

You know, I really like how Raph's anxiety is portrayed in ROTTMNT.

A lot of the time characters who have anxiety tend to be introverted and quiet and more on the passive side. And some people with anxiety are like that, and that's fine! However, when the majority of characters with anxiety are portrayed like this, you tend to get the sense that anxiety is synonymous with these traits, which isn't true.

Which is why I think Raph being a character with anxiety is so important. He's extroverted and he's loud and at times he's hotheaded. He's assertive and (initially) a leader, he's not afraid to speak his mind. AND he also becomes overwhelmed and worried rather easily, he panics when he's left alone for even short periods of time, he gets nervous under pressure very quickly, he has to take deep breaths to calm himself down on multiple occasions.

These aspects of his character don't contradict themselves, they're all just parts of who he is, and are treated as such! It's SO refreshing to see an anxious character who's allowed to be strong and brazen and outgoing, who takes care of others and who others look up to, who's anxious traits are boiled down to "shy" and "doesn't like people".
