My name is Eyad Sami.

I have been married to Amal Mahmoud for thirteen years, and we have four children: Sami, Mohammad, Sarah, and Saad. We are from Palestine, specifically the Gaza Strip, which has been under siege for over eighteen years.

Now, we no longer have a home, and my family lives in a refugee school in the Al-Zaytoun area of northern Gaza, while I live in a tent in Deir al-Balah. I haven't seen my children or my wife for over eight months. My children and wife are suffering from continuous bombing, lack of resources to live in peace, and a shortage of food and water. Here, I am enduring severe psychological and physical pressures due to my inability to be with them and meet their needs.

I ask anyone who reads my story to look upon us with compassion and help me raise even a small amount of money so that we can leave this country and find a safe place to live. We seek a country that offers us safety and a decent life, far from wars, genocide, and lack of security. We need shelter, food, water, education, and healthcare for me and my family.

Alaa and Bilal have been in contact with me since around April of this year. From the looks of it, tumblr deactivated their account on the 24th of August. This is not the first time something similar to this has happened to them; their first account was blocked from sending messages.

According to the latest messages I received from Alaa, they have still been living with no shelter and no safe place to settle since their home was destroyed by the IDF since at least April.

You know that meme where someone is like "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, and fuck you." That would be Brick to everyone and then he tells Bubbles that she's the cool one. But in the respect that she is the least bad of the Powerpuff girls (in his eyes) and not that he actually likes her. Brick tries to stick with his hatred of the Powerpuff Girls the longest, so he still tries to diss and taunt the girls every chance he gets. It's just that Bubbles always just pretends she doesn't get them. "Well if it isn't little Bubbles. >:)" "I think we're both pretty small" "..." and his brothers are laughing at him in the background. But outside of fighting scenarios, Bubbles's eccentric personality piques his interest quite often. Like she'll say something a little quirky and Brick just plays along to see how it plays out. Honestly, you'll need to wait 5 business days if you want a clearer picture of how that works. There are a lot of things that Bubbles just has that are also conversation starters, like pins on her bookbag and quirky earrings. Brick takes the fucking bait, asks about it, and Bubbles takes advantage of that to plant these seeds of friendship. And all of a sudden, Brick the leader of the Rowdyruffs is friends with Bubbles. And Bubbles is totally the type of person who is like, "omg like can you believe we're friends now? That's so crazy, like I didn't expect that at all. Omg what were your first impressions of me." and Brick is like "I mean,,, my first impression of you wasn't exactly a secret." And the jealousy thing, one hundred percent yes. And they all piss him off so much because he finds them annoying for "no apparent reason". But also he probably sees a lot of these suitors as pesky lil' flies that are nothing compared to him.
