Hold Tight Bakugo X Reader
Contains: slight gore and angst
Bakugo finds you bloodied and injured. The question of how much time you have left weighing on his mind.
This isn’t how you planned your evening to go. You were going to go home, change, and meet up with your boyfriend. It didn’t seem like that now though. Especially with the metal bar sticking straight through your core.
How it happened was unknown. You had turned around for a second and then…
It happened.
You didn’t know how to describe the feelings going through you. But the date you had planned with your boyfriend was as good as gone. Everything was going to be gone soon.
Sirens sounded in the back of your mind, each one fainter than the next. The paramedics could barely be made out. You could see their shapes moving across your vision, but no sense could be made of it all. “I guess this is it,” you whispered to no one in particular.
It’s not like anyone was listening anyway. It was just you and…
And the man rushing towards you, his making screaming incoherent words. “Ba…be. Baby stay with me. Please just hand on. You’ll get some help in a second alright? Babe?”
Something wet fell on your face. Rain? No the sky was clear. Tears? that had to be it. The man was crying. “Hey,” you reached for his face, “why are you crying? There’s no need to cry. I’ll be fine, see?” Your smile faltered, as blood spilled from your lips. “I’m feel better already.” It was a lie. You knew it and so did he.
He began yelling at someone you couldn’t see as a mask was put over your face. “Breath honey,” was the last think you heard before the world caved in.
You could feel yourself being moved, but had no idea where to. Consciousness was a hard think to hold onto, but deep down you knew.
Either way this would end in heart break.

King Bakugo X Mer Reader
Fantasy AU
“Come on, Bakugo. It’s just one stop,” cried a red headed dragon. His companion rolled his eyes.
“Absolutely not, Scales. You already dragged me out here because you were bored. There’s no way in hell you’re getting me near that water.”
“But-,”
“No buts,” cried the blonde king. He was already dragged out here against his will. There was no way he would go in that water.
Bakugo heard Kirishima happily splashing in the water and rolled his eyes. That idiot, he thought, sitting beside the small body of water.
He debated leaving his red tailed friend there, but decided to take a nap instead.
The distance sound of frantic sloshing woke the King out of his slumber. “The hell are you doing, Scales?” He asked as Kirishima rushed out of the water.
“Something grabbed me,” he panted. “I’m not sure what it was but something is in that water.”
“You’re just saying that to get me in the water. Nothings in that damn water,” Bakugo retorted, looking into the depths of the lake. Nothing was in the water. Nothing living at least. “You must have touched the seaweed.”
For Kirishima to be a dragon, he was scared easily. You would think he’s one of the strongest, fearsome beings, but you couldn’t be anymore wrong.
The scales creature held up his tail. “Look I have the marks to prove it. There’s no way the could have been seaweed man. I swear.”
Bakugo inspected his friends tail with a grunt. There were in fact scratch marks on Kirishima’s tail. His attention turned back to the water.
He remembered the tales from his mother of creatures that live in the sea. The only one that matched this description was a mermaid. The lack of fish was enough proof for him.
Mermaids were the most deadly of them all. “Kirishima hand me and arrow.” Bakugo wouldn’t be able to shoot the creature under water, he would have to do it up close.
He took his time positioning the arrow over the water and pulled a piece of dried meat out of his pocket. “Hey, what are you do—“ the red companion was shushed away by his master.
Bakugo took his time placing the meat in the water, careful so the mermaid wouldn’t feel the vibrations of the water. He could feel Kirishima’s watchful eyes staring him down. He sat there for what felt like forever, waiting for any sigh of movement. And then…
A webbed hand was all he saw. He watched as those fingers reached for the meat in his hand. He held the arrow steady, waiting for the perfect moment.
When you face came into view he knew it was time to kill… but he couldn’t. Move damnit. Move. His body didn’t follow his orders.
You reached you fingers onto the land, using the grassy surface to lift yourself half way out of the water. Kirishima took a defensive stance around his King who couldn’t take his eyes away from you.
You held the piece of meat up to his face, “What is this?” He didn’t answer. You realized he couldn’t understand you.
Desperate to communicate you reached up, cupping his face. You knew how intimate this action was for those on the surface, but what else could you do. Quickly, you pressed you lips to his.
Bakugo flinched at the sudden contact. This was not what he expected to happen today at all.
When you pulled away you asked him again. “What is this?”
He opened his mouth than closed it again, unable to find the words.
“It’s meat. Dried meat, if you want to be specific.” You tilted you’re head at the red creature. He kind of looked like you especially with the scales covering his body. You watched him take a piece of meat, similar to the one you had, out of his pocket. He placed it in his mouth and began to chew. You copied his actions, eyes widening in wonder of the new food.
You looked to the King in front of you an smiled, diving back into the water. Bakugo still couldn’t move from his place by the water. Were all the myths a lie?
You came back shortly, a clump of seaweed in your hand. Kirishima stood closer to you and laughed, “I don’t think we can eat that.”
“Why not? You shared some of your food with me so now I get to share with you.” You held out the green strands to him and he shook his head.
“I think that might make me sick. Especially since it came straight from the water.”
You frowned at his words. “Then what else could I give you as a trade?” You asked aloud. Immediately you dove back into to the water, having the perfect gift in mind.
Kirishima bumped Bakugo’s shoulder. “You alright man? You haven’t moved since she showed up.”
Bakugo stirred, his hand rushing to his lips. “Why the hell did she kiss me?”
His red companion grinned widely, ready to tease the young King. “Maybe she likes you.”
“Bullshit.”
“That’s what you think but who knows.”
Bakugo’s face tinted red and he prepared to bark a retort at his friend, but you arrived once again. This time you held a shell in your hands.
The light reflected off the shell as you placed it in Bakugo’s hands. “Come back again and I’ll have something to trade with you. Use this shell to let me know you are here.” You demonstrated how to use the shell by putting your mouth to it and blowing. the sound echoed across the land causing the birds to scatter.
Bakugo nodded, taking the shell from you and watching you go below the surface again. “Look at my King catching the attention of a mermaid.” Kirishima teased. Those word resulted in the red beast being chased by his master all the way home.
Hawks X Reader
Dating at the workplace
Contains: fluff and Hawks being clingy
Your relationship with Hawks was supposed to be a secret, but it didn’t last for long. Simply put he was obsessed with you.
It started with simple touches. Fingers brushing when exchanging papers and passing pencils. Even small handshakes.
Then it got intense. During meetings he would wrap his arms around you claiming he couldn’t see the paper. “Your copy is right here,” you hissed, handing him his packet. He will shove his head in your neck and act like he didn’t see it.
Your coworkers started to catch on, but said nothing. That was until Hawks came into the conference room and laid his head in your lap. You had to excuse yourself from the meeting because of embarrassment.
Hawks understood why you would want to keep your relationship a secret. Especially since he was the number 2 hero, but he couldn’t help but want everyone to know. Sure the public shouldn’t know, but people in the workplace should.
He wanted to show you off too everyone. He wanted to go to hero galas with his hand around your waist. Claiming you as his, and only his.
But he didn’t in respect of your space. Just know that he will tell the entire agency of his relationship with you eventually, whether you like it or not. You’ll be mad when you find out but he’ll counter with raised hands, “They already knew.”

Missing Date Night
You had planned this date months ahead to your boyfriend’s busy schedule, but it seems like he forgot yet again.
Contains: slight angst, fluff ending

You were so excited about your date that you took the time to remind Izuku about it every 5 minutes. Purging his phone with various messages of Hope you’re excited for tonight!! And Don’t forget it’s at 6 <3.
You put on your favorite outfit for this date, taking extra time to get ready, and drove to the restaurant. Not only was it difficult to get a reservation there, but this restaurant was also a huge staple for your relationship with Izuku, since you had your first date here.
The waiter lead you to the far back where the private dinning area was hidden. This was the only way you could share private time with your boyfriend out in public. Under normal circumstances he would be bombarded with fans asking for pictures and autographs. The crowd would separate the two of you for who knows how long, but nothing would happen this time. Everything would perfect.
That’s what you thought at least. Sitting there patiently waiting for your green haired partner to arrive.
You held onto hope, ordering drinks and food for the both of you. All the hope you had dwindled away when the restaurant started closing at 10.
The entire time there was spent by yourself and the sympathetic waiter. “I’m sure he’ll show soon,” she said. “Maybe he’s busy. I’m sure being the number one hero is a hard job.” She even brought you a free dessert when closing hours hit as an apology for kicking you out.
You weren’t sure what made you feel worse: knowing that you were walking away from this date by yourself or how small the waiter made you feel with her empty promises.
The urge to reach for you phone and contact Izuku took over you with an overwhelming rage. How could he forget about you? Were you really not that important to him? Are you really that forgettable?
A confrontation was forming in your mind the entire way home, but it wasn’t used. Because he wasn’t home. There was no sign that he had ever been home to get ready for your date.
You couldn’t contain yourself anymore, typing aggressively while tears made your hands slick. Why aren’t you home yet?
He never opened the message.
It was 1 in the morning when Izuku finally made it home, exhaustion pulling at his body. He took his time taking off his shoes when a takeout box caught his eye. He hurriedly grabbed his phone, checking the date, as dread swept over him. How did he forget? Sure he had a ton of work to do, but you had planned this date for the longest. He knew how excited you were to have your own time with him away from his work.
He knocked on the bedroom gently, not expecting to find you asleep. When he saw the dried tears on your face his heart sank. He had to make this up to you somehow.
You felt soft kisses on your face the next morning and promptly turned over not wanting to talk to the man in front of you. He didn’t deserve your attention today, not after what he did to you last night. A sigh could be heard, “I deserve that,” Izuku said. “I’m sorry about what happened yesterday, baby. I really am.”
“Where were you,” you mumbled, your arm hiding your face from him.
“The agency.” You hummed knowing that would be his answer. “I got caught up in work an—“
“And you lost track of time, I know,” you sniffled.
He reached out turning you to face him and wiping the tears from your face. “I’m really sorry, honey. I promise I’ll make it up to you.”
You averted your eyes from him, “I’m tired of all the empty promises Izuku. I just…you never following through with what you say.”
“I know darling…I know. I can keep the promise this time though. I have today off and rescheduled our dinner date. See,” he held his phone out. Showing the time of the reservation. “I made breakfast too.”
“Izuku…,” he reached out to hold you whispering apologies in your ear. He knew he could unintentionally ignore you at times when he’s deep in his work, but it was never like this.
“How about this. Next time there’s a date I’ll plan it. It’ll be harder for me to forget if I coordinate it, you know?” You nodded against his chest, attempting to collect yourself.
You would do anything to fix the bumps in your relationship with Izuku and you can tell he would do the same. That’s what made you love him so much.
Hey! I was wondering if you could write Izuku x reader he thinks the reader is somewhat enigmatic because no one knows anything about them, so he tried to and realizes that they don't have any friends? Sorry if it's kinda angsty 😅 and feel free not to write it if you don't want. (If you do, could you make it gender neutral?) Thank you and I love your writing <3
Of course I can! thank you so much for sending this request in it was so much fun to write. I hope this met up to your expectations. I decided to add a little bit of angst for flavor. Once again thank you for this request and feel free to make another one if you would like. 😊
Izuku X Reader
Strangely Alone
Izuku has an analysis page for everyone and when I say everyone I mean everyone. He even goes into to a deep dive of what everyone can do and how they interact. For example, Bakugo can only make a few large explosions before his quirk dwindles out, and he always smells like sugar when he walks by.
He did this list for every person he met hero or not, but there was one person that he was missing. You.
He could never understand you and your habits, he couldn’t even understand your quirk. It caught him by surprise at first. The thought of him not knowing anything about you only made him more curious.
He took his time watching you, hoping to find any pattern in your movements or other mannerisms. Yet, he found nothing. You didn’t talk to anyone in class, not even at lunch when everyone has a chance to mingle. Everyday you sit by yourself with no one to talk to, in fact, it seemed that no one tried to talk to you. You kind of reminded him of Shoto and his quiet ways, but Shoto became friendlier over time unlike you.
You always sat with you head in the clouds or writing in your notebook. He would even catch some of his friends whispering about you and how you were still “studying” even though the exam was over. Little did they know that you heard every word they said.
It’s not that you wanted to sit by yourself with your book as your only form of company. You wanted to talk, to laugh, to have friends. You wanted it all, but it was hard for you when it came to those types of things. You didn’t realize how much the lack of friendship would affect you.
You made efforts to talk plenty of times before, but no one ever heard you. No one besides the half asleep teacher at least, he didn’t count in your book. You even found yourself crying at some point, all the frustration of trying to make new friends slowing breaking you down.
The more you sat alone the worse the thoughts got. Why am I always alone? Why is talking so hard for me? Is one person too much to ask for? You had to keep your head down to hide the tears, each thought slowly consuming you.
Izuku noticed you sitting by yourself once again, but something seemed different about it this time. You weren’t writing anything down or eating, you were just sitting by yourself. Something about you called to him. Without hesitation he grabbed his tray, ignoring all of his friends questioning faces, and walked to your table.
“Is this seat taken?” He questioned. You looked at him in awe, your eyes shining for your tears. You shook your head, allowing the green haired boy to take a seat. “Today’s training was really difficult, right?” He was trying to make any attempt at a conversation and his efforts seemed to be paying off.
“It was, but I’m sure there was a good reason for it. We all know how our teacher is.”
Izuku agreed with you and continued to make small talk. By the end of the period you found out that you had some things in common. You both liked the same hero’s and both struggled in the same subject. Ther was even a small disagreement over what kind of katsudon was better. Yours was obviously better.
The bell marking the end of lunch caught you by surprise. The time never went by this fast when you sat alone. You liked the change. You liked the company. “Can we eat together again tomorrow?” You asked as you put your tray away.
“Of course.” Yeah. You definitely liked the company.
Azriel X Reader
Day Full of Love
Two hours. That’s how much time was left before you and Azriel were finally united forever. You couldn’t hide your feelings from your loving mate everytime you thought of it, unconsciously sending waves of love down the bond.
He was everything that you could’ve asked for. He might not see it himself, but you do. You knew he deserved happiness, even if he didn’t accept it. That’s what you intended to prove to him today.
Not only were you getting married to your mate, but you also had a small gift for him. You didn’t tell anyone about your surprise. Not even Mor, who was currently trying to peek into the small gift bag. “You know I can see you, right?”
She backed away hastily, hands up in surrender, “I was just making sure you didn’t leave any of your jewelry. Can’t have you missing anything.” You scoffed rolling your eyes. Mor couldn’t mind her business for the life of her. It was her ongoing curiosity that made you and Azriel reveal the truth about being mates. You both tried to hide it from your family, attempting to get used to the bond yourselves first, but thanks to her things didn’t go to plan.
“Sure…,” you murmured watching her out of the corner of your eye. You brushed out your uncooperative hair, growing frustrated with time. Feyre came to assist you, pulling your hair into an up do style, while you proceeded to put in earrings while looking out the window.
The wedding took place during sunset and at the moment the sun was barely over the horizon. Everything outside was set up, as far as you could tell from the window at least. The white banisters were hung high and the tables were covered with a cobalt blue table cloth. The chairs had small accents of silver and blue and the aisle…
The isle that you were going to walk down within the next few minutes was shimmering in the last rays of sunset. You couldn’t wait to see the way that Azriel would look at you as you walked down the aisle. The way he would take in the dress as it flowed around you. the way his eyes would connect with yours, sending his love and adoration down the bond you shared.
You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn’t realize Feyre calling to you. her hands on your shoulders was what brought you back to reality. “Are you alright?” She asked softly. You nodded telling her that you were just thinking as she went to pick up your dress. You could see the understanding in her eyes at your words. “I was nervous before Rhys and I did the ceremony—“
“You mean the ceremony that I wan’t invited to,” Mor shouted from across the room. You couldn’t but laugh at the slightly guilty look of Feyre’s face. You were still upset about not being invited to her ceremony as well, but you didn’t let it show like Mor did.
She helped you step into your dress, responding with, “The situation was different back then, Mor, but I’ll make sure we include you next time we have a big event.”
“Me too,” you added, turning so she could zip up your gown. Thankfully you and Azriel didn’t have to worry about the threat of a war during this big moment. You couldn’t imagine how hard it was for Feyre and Rhys at that time.
You quickly grabbed the gift bag and left Feyre put on your veil. “I’ll make sure to invite you too.”
Mor, nudged Feyre’s shoulder, “You better.” She handed you the bouquet, “Now then let’s get this wedding started.”
********************
Azriel loved his brothers, no doubt about that, but at this current moment he wanted to erase them from the Night Court. Cassian spent the past twenty minutes crying over Azriel finally getting married, while Rhys recounted the time after his mating ceremony.
“He’s finally getting hitched, Rhys, can you believe it,” Cassian cried, slapping Azriel on the back causing his wings to flare. He sighed in irritation, all hopes of finally buttoning up his shirt lost.
There were only five minutes left. Five minutes and he still wasn’t fully dressed. Not that you would mind seeing him walk down the isle without a shirt.
Rhys could tell that Azriel was frustrated from the way his shadows frantically whipped around that room. Each dark wisp coming back to tell him where everything he needed was: the rings on the dresser and his shoes near the bed.
“Sit,” Rhys said, signaling at a chair. Azriel rushed over not caring about what his brother was trying to do. His attention was on his shirt that he still hasn’t finished fixing the buttons on. He was so focused on the item of clothing that he didn’t notice Cassian holding his shoes out to him or Rhys’s hands in his hair.
Azriel took his shoes, bending down to lace them. He pushed Rhy’s away every time he reached for his shoulder. “Do you ant me to finish your hair or not Az.”
Azriel’s head snapped up, “What?”
“Your hair.” Rhys handed him a mirror to look at the nest of hair on his head. Azriel cursed and promptly sat back. He couldn’t remember the last time Rhys had touched his hair. He used to do it five hundred years ago when they were kids, but eventually stopped after a while. The only person that touched the black hair on Azriel’s head now was you.
“There. What are we thinking?” Azriel inspected his hair throughly. You wouldn’t care what his hair looked like regardless, but he still wanted to make sure it looked perfect for you.
“I think we should add glitter,” Cassian suggested. “The girls at the camp told me that glitter makes everything look better.”
“Absolutely not,” Azriel deadpanned. Thinking about the small girls that he trained at the camp. As much as he adored them, he would not be adding any type of shimmer into his locks.
Rhys placed his hands on his brothers shoulders. “It’s time for you to get married.”
******************
Azriel’s eyes didn’t leave you as you made your way down the aisle. You had to stop yourself from running up to him when you first saw him. He was absolutely glowing in the last rays of the sunset. You could see the reddish brown membrane of his wings as you continued to step towards him, nearly crumpling under his gaze.
He looked at you in all the ways you imagined and more. His eyes completely devoured you and you could see the desire in his eyes more as you stood on the platform with him. “Hello beautiful,” he whispered, wrapping his arm around your waist. You wanted to kiss him badly at that moment, but you would have to save that for the end of the ceremony.
Rings were exchanged and white fabric was wrapped around your wrists to symbolize the band before you heard the words you had been waiting for. “You may now kiss the bride.”
Azriel swept you off your feet, pulling you in for a passionate kiss. It was unlike any kind of kiss he had given you before. His lips pressed against yours, telling you everything that he felt in that moment. You felt his love, his desperation, and his need all in one. The cheers in the background made you push Azriel’s chest. No matter how tempting it was at the moment, you didn’t want to give your entire family a show.
You were beaming as you listen to the cheers from Feyre, Cassian, Rhys, and, to your surprise, some claps from Amren.
The night continues with drinks, food, and plenty of congratulations. It was hard to get a private moment with your husband. You only managed to pull him away when everyone was dancing together, celebrating the new union in the family.
“I got you gift,” you said, handing him the small bag. You were nervous, very nervous. What would he say when he saw what was in the bag? How would he react? You couldn’t stop these thoughts from rushing though your head as you mate looked at you curiously.
“You didn’t have to get me anything love.”
“I know, but this is very special to me and I wanted to share it with you.”
“Just know I’m going to get you something in return.” You rolled your eyes at your husbands antics. He would never let you surprise him without repaying the favor.
You watched as he pulled a small cloth out of the bag. He squinted his eyes in suspicion, unfolding the item. “Is this what I think it is?” His eyes scanned the onesie in his hands. You nodded softly, tears brimming your eyes. Azriel enveloped you in his arms whispering into your hair, “When did you find out, beautiful?”
“Two months ago,” you said, burying your head into his neck.
He kissed you temple, “So this is why you wanted to move the wedding up.”
You nodded, at a lost for words. You remembered talking to Azriel about your plans to move the wedding up. When he asked you why you claimed it was because you couldn’t wait to get married to him. You could see the suspicion on his face, but that was the quickest thing you could come up with. Keeping secrets from the shadowsinger was a hard thing to do.
You sat there in Azriels arms for a while, the commotion around you disappearing. “Should we tell them too?” You asked, knowing how happy your family would be to hear the news.
“Not yet. I want to keep this a secret for a little while longer. Plus,” he turned to look at the rest of your family clinging their glasses together, “I think there’s been enough excitement for one day.”
