#1yrago A LaTeX Mod To Draw Coffee Cup Rings On Your Technical Papers
#1yrago A LaTeX mod to draw coffee cup rings on your technical papers

LaTeX is the venerable, gold-standard layout package favored for scholarly papers, especially technical papers; back in 2009, Hanno Rein released LaTeX Coffee Stains, an extension to draw a variety of coffee-cup rings on your paper; the code has been improved by community contributions over the years and is very robust and full-featured! Oh! So neat to see a picture of Yipes the Zebra when they were in drama school chasing the dream of making it big as a mascot, back before they signed on with Beech-Nut. I’m so glad they managed to make it, they worked very hard for it :)

It’s true! Though, perhaps a bit misleading. They both agree that their currency’s value should be backed by gold, but storks prefer a monometallic standard with solely gold, whereas cranes insist a bimetallic exchange standard with silver is much more preferable.

“And it gets to the point where there’s nothing left, you know? You try to muddle along as best you can all hollow inside, waiting for the little spark to ignite again the fire that kept you warm. And after a while, it feels like there never was a fire in the first place, that all of your memories and accomplishments belong instead to someone you could have been, someone that might have existed. What ever happened to that young scholar, so full of promise? They died, I took their place”
