I always try to make Linhardt as pretty as possible in everything he wears and then I have Caspar dressing like this:

i get what you're saying and it's an interesting take on it for sure but that hopes line from linhardt only appears if caspar actually dies. it's being very literal. you can even get it in his own route if you let him die before that support chain (and the support chain itself is about your loved ones dying in war). I agree that hopes is the worse timeline for them tho
