gukkie!!! my moonboy, my stars, the prettiest flower in my garden, you’re officially an adult today!!! i can’t believe that you’re an adult, you can do adult stuff!!! you can finally drink (in america) :o !!! but to be honest you’ll always be a baby in my eyes, even tho you’re like 5 years older than me but whatever, you’re still my baby. anyways, i just wanted to say ; happy birthday, my love, i hope you have the brightest of days and that that gorgeous smile never fades away, because it keeps me moving. i’ve been a fan of yours for not much time, only for like a year and a half, but in that year and a half, you’ve grown in my heart. a thought is constantly crossing my mind, isn’t it crazy and insane how the universe wanted me to fall in love with you? how you were destined to be my moon and my stars? how it molded my path and your path and demanded them to cross? isn’t that just insane??? think about it, i could’ve just become a fan of another group, not bts, but my heart followed you, you guys were meant to be on my path, because i share a special bond with you, this isn’t any fan-idol relationship, this is family, and family are always there for each other. from the moment i watched a video showing your goofy side and your lovely bunny smile and your adorable eyesmile and those eyes, that contain billions of stars in them, you captivated my heart, made it yours, and i’m not even going to complain, i fully believe you were meant to take my heart, and i’m glad you did. my favorite physical feature of yours is your eyes, god, i could stare at them for hours and i wouldn’t still be able to count all those stars you have in there!!! they’re really my favorite thing to look at, and i wish that someday i can be able to look at them and admire them in person. you have inspired me in so many ways i just i’m so happy whenever i think about you!!!

Reaching out and practicing the art of selflessness is a great way to self-actualize. In fact, going beyond the ego and self-absorbed tendencies can be a fulfilling and freeing experience that can change your life forever. When you have a strong desire to spread kindness and make others happy, you learn to expand your consciousness. In other words, you become a better person when you create positive changes. But, kindness is often confused with pleasing others. There’s a difference between being kind and being too kind on a regular basis.

On one hand, you can be kind out of the goodness of your heart. But, if you choose to be nice because you’re reluctant to turn down someone’s request for a favor out of fear of being “selfish” or “mean,” then your kindness comes from a place of deep-seated insecurity, rather than a way of self-actualizing. According to family and marriage therapist Darlene Lancer, people pleasing habits are often formed during childhood. If you feel like you always had to accommodate to others, it may have stemmed from your parents’ high expectations, criticisms, and rigid rules. This also applies if you grew up with parents who withheld love from you and practiced unfair and unpredictable ways of disciplining you.

i never talk about these things but i can’t remain silent.

i know tumblr doesn’t give a SHIT when things happen in countries outside the “most popular ones” (such as the usa & england). it’s true, don’t lie to me. y’all don’t give A FUCK. not every issue and problem in said countries gets the appropriate exposure but in general shit shows up on the news WORLD FREAKING  WIDE. you set up donations, you help out, your spread the word, you say “pray for x”……

southern europe is burning. 

my country is burning.

people are dying - at home, on the road, trying to run away, in their cars.

yesterday my country had 300 active fires.

people are losing EVERYTHING they own.

i have a friend that is on a train right now passing through places that have been burnt to the ground and she says the smoke is so intense it’s getting inside the train and she can barely breathe.

and yet, even though several people (myself included) have been trying to bring awareness to what has been happening in southern europe… what we get from most of you, those not part of the countries suffering, is silence. we don’t ask for money, we don’t ask for shit other than a reblog to spread awareness… something you can delete in 24/48hrs if you wish. 

i don’t know what to tell you. i’m angry. i’m frustrated. i’m disappointed. i feel like i’m screaming into the void. “a reblog does nothing” - you know that’s a damn lie, you know exposure always helps, you know people start paying attention when posts on social media become popular. my country in particular is a small one, we get ZERO exposure. y’all are only starting to figure out we even fucking exist bc of the shit we’ve been winning lately. 

but hell, if the EU doesn’t give a shit, why should some user on tumblr dot com?

namjoon has a coddling way of showing his love to the members, it’s through praise and fond looks, it’s through sweet laughter when they’re being cute, it’s through offering support and tailoring his way of helping for each member. it’s through how he takes on a lot of work, so as not to pressure the others. it’s through his capacity to hold more than one heart in his body.

seokjin is more gentle yet louder, he shows his love through soft smiles after hearing them bicker, only to join in a few moments later. it’s through his shameless personality and making them laugh with it, it’s through waking up at dead hours to cook for them. it’s through fitting himself to each and every member, and yet acting as a cohesive bond for them all.

for yoongi, there is love in the silence. it’s the little things, when he passes over a water bottle without looking, when he praises a member without needing to be prompted, gentle and reassuring. when he goes on and on about how they’ve grown behind their backs, but never really says it to their faces. when he’s watching them have fun and be stupid together, when he finally joins in and let’s them see his goofy side. when he says they’re not friends, they’re family.

and then there’s hoseok, unabashed and unapologetic about how he loves his members. he shares kisses and hugs and massages and serenades them and holds them all so, so tight. it’s in the way he looks at them with stars in his eyes when they make him proud or happy. it’s in the way he thinks of them as “us” rather than “me and them”.

jimin comes in next, and there’s so much love for him to give. jimin shows love through his closeness, jimin’s love is through knowing the other members better than they know themselves. through remembering that “wait taehyungie can’t eat that because of this”. through looking at the other and knowing exactly what they need, through affection and clinginess and a belief that they’re never going to be apart.

taehyung is a love opportunist, taking every chance he gets to pour his soul into everything and let them know how he feels. it’s in the way he’ll write meaningful letters to them all, never putting one member over the other. it’s in the way he’ll plan trips for all of them, it’s in the way they’ll be watching a movie together and doing absolutely nothing, and yet he’ll look around and find tears in his eyes. it’s in the way he’ll listen to them, with an open heart and open arms.

jungkook comes last, the baby of the group. jungkook’s show of love is hard to pinpoint, but it’s in the way he turns his members into art, into songs and video and pictures. it’s in the way he’ll say why he admires them in front of thousands, but will be too embarrassed to say it at home. it’s in the way it’s home and not dorm. it’s in the way he knows he’ll get away with everything and get through anything, as long as he has his members.

they’re an odd little group, but they love in a lot of the same ways. they let eachother see sides of them usually closed off, they cry with eachother, they laugh with eachother. they find comfort in eachother when no one else can give it to them. and they go to sleep knowing bangtan is one body, one heart, forever.
