It had been a heat of the moment thing. a group of particularly nasty corrupted gems had forced the autogems and deceptijewels into a temporary truce and megatron had been cornered by one of them alongside the autogem scout. His blades were unable to peirce the things form and the scouts electric blasts did little to deter it. Everything was a blurr after the creature knocked them both into the wall of the canyon. One moment he was himself the next he and the scout- no not the scout- bumblebee, that was the name the smaller gem had given himself, bumblebee jasper.

He had never thought much of him, just some overcooked off color autogem nuisance and yet... in that moment he had felt the power flowing through him like an electrical current. There union had been felt far more natural than he'd like to admit, they had simply sunk into eachother and lost themselves to the resulting sensation. They had had moved as one to poof the beast in a single strike as if it were nothing. The hematite jasper smiled to himself at the memory.. He had never felt like that before, such passion, such POWER, it was addictive and he had almost refused to seperate when the task was done.

It was for the best he hadn't. No, it would be far sweeter if his little bee joined him willingly and with the intel he had gathered from their union persuading him to his side would be childs play. He would have to be careful, mutual boundaries would be necessary to avoid giving up important information or making his bee feel like he was being used. He couldn't tip off his scouts companions and couldn't force him to fuse if he wasn't interested. Though from how responsive he had been last time he doubted that would be much of a problem.

Megatron smirked to himself, this would be a risky move but if successful immeasurably lucrative in his effort against the autogems.

Now all he had to do was set up the first date.

Megabee soulmate au 4

1- megatron 100% used the soulmate thing as an excuse for spying on the bots.

2- to be fair it wasn't a full lie, just not the full truth.

3- in the crystal flower au (spark blooms au) extreme emotions on one end means rabid blooming and wilting on the other.

4- and given Megan's moodiness, bee is pretty used to his blooms suddenly freaking out.

5- spark blooms keep growing even if the limb isn't attached so sumdac had to deal with a bunch of crystal flowers in his private lab.

6- the poor professor had a hell of a time learning how to "properly" handle and store them

7- megan utterly refused the professor just tossing them because "they're physical proof of my intendeds love! you don't just throw them away!"

8- since she's technically the daughter of his soulmate bee is inexplicably drawn to and protective of sari.

9- bee occasionally refers to megan as "my dragon" in reference to his spark mark.

10- "annoying overgrown lizard" is also used when irritated.

11- bb has a concerning amount of knowledge about the cons. I'm talking stuff even council don't know about.

12- he's just... feels this pull to them. (Guess why)

13- for clarification in the s.a.t au when you meet your other soulmate the tat extends all over the body including your face.

14- in the spark bloom au the flowers change colors (bee's turn various shades of blues and mega's turn red.)

15- in the ink link au megan revealed the truth to bee by quoting a poem he wrote him.

For the tfa gem au, can some of them fuse like Steven Universe's gems?

Would be an interesting take with Megabee ship :D

Like any gems they can fuse with eachother given they can cooperate long enough. but it's reserved for only dire situations.

As for megabee? Well you'll have to wait and see for that little tale.
