the small things he does for you

diluc: wordlessly gives you a mug of hot chocolate whenever he sees you hard at work, placing snacks on your desk in hourly intervals to make sure you eat properly instead of neglecting your hunger because he knows all too well you prioritize your job first, which is an unhealthy habit. spoonfeeds you if necessary.

kaeya: seduces you into healthy sleeping habits. he gets worried whenever he sees dark circles under your eyes, so he personally made it his job to confirm you get enough rest. uses his bedroom voice when telling you it’s time to sleep and innocently tucks you into bed even though he assaulted your ears ten seconds ago.

albedo: he knows how much you like stealing his clothes that he began to buy sweaters his size, but with the intention of giving it to you anyway. takes your preferences into account when choosing what to purchase. (he frankly doesn’t understand the “boyfriend’s clothes” charm, but if it makes you happy, then so be it.)

venti: writes you daily love letters even though he already confessed his feelings ages ago. it could be three sentences long today, but tomorrow it could reach the length of an essay. he never puts it in the same place twice, so there’s always a surprise waiting for you everyday; he could have slipped it under your desk, or in your bag, or tucked it inside your book.

zhongli: gives you wake up calls every morning to help you stay awake instead of falling back asleep after pushing snooze on your alarm. though he insists his voice is “boring” and would lull you back to slumber, you couldn’t disagree more. (plus his morning voice is— ahem, sexy. the privilege of being the only one able to hear his morning voice is nice indeed.)

childe: posts sticky notes for you to see everywhere. they’re often small reminders like “don’t forget to bring [item] with you” or stuff like “good luck on your presentation today!” but it could also be sweet messages posted on your fridge, “sorry i had to leave first, but i prepared breakfast for you on the table. love you <33”

xiao: wears hair ties on his wrist despite not using them himself, just in case you ever needed them to fix your hair. also has spare hairpins in a pocket from his backpack. not opposed to tying your hair when you ask him to. (but when he ties his own hair into a ponytail, biting onto the elastic while carding his fingers through his locks, you find it strangely captivating.)

kazuha: your personal guinea pig. and okay, that sounds bad, but his skin is so smooth and fair that you can’t help but test your makeup on him! his eyelashes are long too, and the shape of his lips is pretty; he’s the perfect model! he doesn’t complain at all, even impressed at your skills when you doll him up. eventually learns how to do makeup and tries it out on you <3

Why?” Ace asked you as you kicked a stone from the training field away, groaning at the question that your friends had asked. “Vargas saw them flirting with me…” 💪🏼 They knew immediately what that meant. Sure, you weren’t his child, but your relationship was like any father-child-relationship. 💪🏼 Vargas grinned brightly at the tired students, before he walked to you. 💪🏼 “(y/n), stop being so angry. 🔮 You were in Sam’s shop, glancing at the wares here and there until a student tapped your shoulder, asking you if you might help him, as you nodded your head. 🔮 You know this place better than anybody, as you spend lots of time with Sam here. “You are very nice, (y/n). Thank you so much for helping me out. I think it would only be fair, if I will invite you to the party of Scarabia… As my partner? You want to?” 🔮 Before you could answer him, a voice had interrupted you. “Oh, how nice. A party? Are my friends allowed to come and accompany (y/n) then? They could always help you.” Sam smiled, walking towards you. 🔮 “My friends are also good at letting people disappear.” Now the student’s eyes widen at Sam’s words, while you rolled your’s. “S-Sorry… I should go now…” 🔮 “You might have friends from the other side, but I have friends from here, who might help me to beat someone up.” You raised your fist at him, shaking it angrily before you left his shop.
