a really important thing to remember:

whenever one of the boys get into a relationship (or are rumored to be in a relationship), we as fans have a hell of an important role in their relationship. so here’s some things that i think are super important to remember, and to follow if we want our boys to feel free and happy in their increasingly busy lives.

no assuming - even if they already look like a couple and act like one, we can’t assume that they are dating until there if confirmation from either party. if they’re not dating, rumors that they are can put a huge strain on their friendship.

no digging into personal lives - us as fans, we want to know everything about the person that the boy is dating because we want to know that they’re well taken care of. but don’t go digging into the girl’s life in hope to uncover some dirty secret so they boy will break up with her. this is a complete invasion of privacy, and quite frankly just a little weird. some things are buried and kept secrets for a reason, and let’s respect their personal privacy and lifestyle. 

no bringing up the past - some people are already bringing up the past on jack, and that’s completely fucked up. rumors are only rumors, and we can’t know what happened in either party’s past because we were not there. bringing up the past can hurt their relationship in ways we can’t know, so keep the past the past and live in the present.

NO FUCKING HATE - this is BY FAR the most important damn thing to follow by. DO NOT SEND THE PEOPLE WHO THE BOYS ARE RUMORED TO BE DATING HATE. done deal. hate is one of the most disgusting things on this planet, and sending it to people who  are just in a damn relationship is ridiculous. the boys are all adults (with the exception of zach, who will be an adult soon enough), and they have the right to do and date whoever they wish. if they are happy and they look happy with their relationship, then let them be happy. never EVER send hate to someone who is simply just dating a person you idolize. it’s the most disgusting thing, and could result in breaking their relationship. don’t mess with the happiness of the boys, because  it’s the most important thing that they have.

the boys are not objects. they cannot be “won” or “taken”. they are humans as much as the rest of us are. they are growing up, and we have to grow up with them. don’t treat the boys as if they aren’t entitled to do what they wish to with their lives. 

we’re limelights, and we support them no matter what. always keep in mind that their happiness is our happiness, and we shouldn’t act like children when it come to their relationships.

and if you don’t like their relationships, you are entitled to your own opinion. but just don’t bring that negativity into the boys or their girlfriend’s lives, because they don’t need it.
