You heard Chan let out another deep sigh as he stared at his computer. The two of you had been cooped up in his studio for a few hours now. Even though the two of you didn’t talk much when he was working, he still liked feeling your presence and knowing that you were there.

“It motivates me,” he said as he pressed a soft peck to your cheek.

However, today that didn’t seem to be the case. Chan had seemed a little on edge since you had arrived. His body was tense as you hugged him in greeting, barely returning the kiss you planted on his lips. You had caught him glancing over at you more times than not. Each time you attempted to send a small smile his way but the minute your eyes met he would look away.

You felt your smile falter every time, gut churning with worry as you observed him from where you were positioned on the couch.
