🌺🌷💕 Aphrodite Offering Spray 🌺🌷💕

💌 Hey little rosebuds! Im back for a while so this is my first post for the summer i hope you have fun doing this easy spellwork for Aphrodite worshippers! From my personal grimoire. 💌

💐 Things you’ll need: 💐

• circle casting tools

• a small bowl & spoon

• a spray bottle

• purified water

• rose oil

• vanilla oil

• a small cinnamon stick

• rose petals

• lavender buds

• globe amaranth petals

• pink, red or white candle

• pink salt, sea salt or pink dyed salt

• a small rose quartz  or any love crystals

• strawberry, cinnamon, vanilla or rose incense

• very small seashells (optional)

• if you are using shells here some ideas:

 abalone: (self)love, healing, luck, wealth, peace, cleansing, home, hearth

 button shell: connections, gatherings, friendships

 clam: soulmates, love, friendships, communication, healing, emotions

 conch: truth, art , beauty, clarity, freedom grace, movement, speech

 cowrie: fertility, love, wealth, pregnancy, growth, divination, female sexuality

 olive shell: healing, hope, love, friendship, abundance, opportunity

 scallop: travel, love, friendships, movement, grace, change, peace, healing,     spirituality, happiness, communication, patience, diversity, openess

🌛 When to cast: 🌜

• any moon phase or any time during a friday

🕯️ Creating the spray bottle: 🕯️

• First cleanse your space/tools then cast your circle and call upon Aphrodite to help aid you in your spellwork. Then light the candle and incense for offerings.

• When stating your intentions to the bowl add the water, oils, flowers and herbs in the bowl and stir clock-wise to bring the desired intentions to the concoction.

• When you’re done stating your intentions use the spoon to draw a love sigil on the water surface to seal your intention or you can ask Aphrodite to bless the elixir to seal it.

• Before adding the liquid into the bottle carefully place the crystal and or seashell into the bottle then finally add the elixir.

• Once you’re done spray some of the elixir and thank Aphrodite then close the circle. This spray has a 2 month shelf life so keep the spray in the fridge after using it.  

• Some other ways to use it such as: spraying onto yourself before praying to Aphrodite, using it as an eau de toilette, spraying onto your clothes, use as an incense alternative, spraying it after a room cleansing session or however you want!

• Please do not ingest this spray it is not meant to be consumed!

Candle reading made easy

Hey loves, I don’t want to make this post suuuper long so imagine me blowing a welcome kiss to all of you and let’s get started…

The generic practice of reading fire is called pyromancy. 

We can break a candle reading session down to 3 main parts:

Observation (flame watching)

Gathering & understanding (decoding fire’s messages)

Final question & Goodbye (ask if there’s anything else you should know before leaving, thank and salute fire/salamanders)

During the observation phase, watch for:

Length of the flame 1-2 min to know WHEN-the timing = PAST

Shape of the flame 2-3 min to know WHAT-the actual matter = PRESENT

Direction & behavior of the flame 3-4 min to know HOW-the true nature of it = hints at the FUTURE (see where the fire is pointing to know what type of matter it is; concentrate on the opposite direction telling you how to counteract to solve or banish whatever it might be; it also indicates what elemental energy is strongly supporting/protecting you in taking action as well as in related spellwork)

Presence/Absence of Smoke 2-3 min to understand the SOURCE of your awareness 

*Keep a compass handy!

Salamanders/fire will try to communicate with you as soon as you light the fire/candle so pay attention from the very beginning. Fire energy is impulsive, blunt, active, carefree and wild.  This type of divination detects negativity like WOW because it easily speaks the brutally honest truth regardless of how you feel or what’s happening. It brings up issues that we refuse to deal with. Again, it’s pure blunt energy. Because of its wild nature, fire will also charge us with optimism and explosive determination to overcome problems and bad news: typically after pyromancy we feel motivated and “ready to go”.

Length

Long-extra long: something has been bothering you for a very long time now (trust your intuition, probably for years) which you never actively faced; you’ve been quiet for too long; unsolved problems from the past are challenging your patience; relevant stuff that had to be cleared much earlier

Medium: Something that has been lurking in the back of your mind for 1-3 months, a plan or an idea that could change/shake your life but is not currently a priority to you; it might be something you heard from another person or a vague thought

Short: something intense that happened within the last couple days, a very recent thing is bothering you and has almost caught you by surprise; unexpected news from day to day, a new sudden event that physically or emotionally shook you

Shape 

Double: Two things that were generated consequentially or have a common link, two entities/people united by a common theme

Super-thin line: Something you felt or suspected but never had proof of evidence about, a subtle suspicion, a doubt, an insinuation; a sneaky or secretive individual

Regular: Something/someone that you accept and is part of your routine, your own mindset, something very close and not disturbing; a solid milestone in your daily life

Round: One thing in particular that constantly “fills you up”, makes you feel complete, full, exploding or either extremely delighted; a person who represses/suppresses you, someone ghosting you on purpose just to humble you or to make you feel lesser

Behavior

Steady: things are happening in the background, far from the “public eye” and without you even realizing; you - and people around you- are calm, clueless, peaceful and the surroundings seem safe; good vibes are in the air but definitely keep your eyes open and intuition awake

Shaky, wiggly: things are visibly happening before your eyes, making you confused, uneasy or giving you mood swings; anxiety; you are able to feel bad vibes around you: take control of the situation and protect yourself Weak, petite & almost extinguished: matter/person X is now annihilating you before the eyes of everybody, but still no one defends you; seek help in others, protect yourself and take action to win this ripe, suffered battle

Directions

EAST: AIR - communication, mindset, mental/spoken/written things, logical reasoning, ideas, plans, spring, morning, sunrise, masculine… WEST: WATER - emotions, unconscious, gut feelings, passivity, illogical reasoning, intangibility, blue, flow, moisture, fall, sunset, feminine… SOUTH: FIRE - action, guidance, strength, activity, blood, warmth, creativity, masculine, red, impulse, summer, noon… NORTH: EARTH - stability, firmness, art, finance, grounding, material things, tangibility, stillness, death, birth, winter, midnight, green… (+ ALL YOUR PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE about the elements and how they can be interpreted, what meanings they have in our lives and their specific correspondences) 

Smoke

Absence: you are the source of awareness: your body and soul have sent you signals about matter X and you had an inner awakening which led you to this reading 

Presence: someone else enlightened you with their words and made you fully aware of matter X; something popped up as an obvious proof that you weren’t expecting to find: this has awakened your inquisitive mind and led it to this reading.

Invocation to Aphrodite

me, clueless: i mean i like the theoi but more from a mythological standpoint, i don’t really think i want to worship any of them-

(anyways here’s a lil invocation/prayer  i wrote to honor my homegirl)

Bright, shining Aphrodite,

Born of foam and risen from the wine-dark sea

With beauty and power and strength awe-inspiring

I honor the glory of your name.

Please grant me your eyes, to see beauty in all things;

Bestow upon me your tongue, to speak only words of love.

Give me your hands, to keep making good in this world;

Guide me to walk in your divine light.

Energy Reading - Hera

Pale golden pearls which glow under the sunlight. Flowing blonde hair flows with the winds on an overcast day. Tied up in a loose ponytail those invisible peacocks play around on to deliver messages new, old and indifferent. Feeling the sands under foot and how they cool they feel step after step. There are memories of birds bygone and of dates along the ocean shore era after era. There is a calm presence to be felt going along these waters. How they have also changed from these green-blues when before they were of pale pinks and golds. Children can be heard as echoes of happiness within moments.  Seashells are collected and spread across a gallery. Some are of the original colors, with striking marks and intriguing shapes. Whilst others are ones painted by others to represent a part of the ocean which has been hidden by eyesight. Of the dark blues only shown at night, or the might of a myth portrayed as red is splattered to show war. Walking down these halls on pristine rugs made only to showcase those shells even more so. Clicking of heels echo and sunder anything else to silence. A flight of birds might have made a noise or sight, if one were able to see their forms in the wind behind the individual walking. Those peacocks new and old dare to watch over with piercing gazes, never stopping to see what is valuable to their master. The heels stop walking and stand in the center of the room. Darkness envelops this gallery and something glows. At first it is unknown what it is. Then, it becomes almost like those invisible gazes come to light in the forms of feathers. Watch what will happen, for kindness in the face does not dissipate the fierceness behind every action taken to protect what is just and true to everything around. ————————————— You tend to be very approachable once you are able to know someone. At first it is a little daunting for others to make contact with you because you carry yourself with such dignity. It’s hard to mistake that for anything else unless there’s lack of knowledge of others. Then it seems as though you can be too strong. Which you are strong, though others don’t realize it is simply due to how important your duties are to others. You are very watchful and aware of others. In that you know your boundaries in how to interact and you are very proud of the tasks you set forth. Because those who do take on your challenges are well rewarded with innate power and insight that others would only hope for. You also have a softness to you which can be seen as motherly. Where you are open to others conversing with you about anything, so long as you know that you’ll support others both close and far away.  You have vast knowledge of histories from this planet and many others. You’ve seen landscapes which have never been witnessed yet the similarities seen makes one think they actually have. Who better to witness changes than that where thes skies are always present. There is something utterly captivating about how you present yourself that allows others to relax yet be on their toes when you decide you are up for new bantering.
