Lucifer was sitting at the desk in his office, examining his mountains of work. He looked over at the cup of hell coffee also sitting on his desk you had prepared yourself and had brought to him earlier. He took a sip, and stopped. His eyes open in surpise and he puts the drink down; the coffee was bitter, really bitter. He couldn't help but let out a chuckle and a quiet smile. Lucifer drank the bitter coffee slowly, until there is not a single drop left, contemplating it's bitter taste thoughtfully while sorting, reviewing, and going through the paperwork.

After a while, there's a knock on the door; you came to check up on him, and probably to remind him to take a break. He puts both the paperwork and the cup of coffee down, stands up from his seat and walks towards the entrance of his studio. As he opens the door and looks at you, Lucifer tells you the coffee you prepared for him was rather bitter, with hum and a smug expression, and you tilt your head to the side in confusion. 'Did he not like it?' you think to yourself, kind of embarrassed.

Lucifer is not sure whether you are aware about the special properties of the hell coffee beans or not, but he tells you anyway; hell coffee becomes bitter when you prepare it for someone you're fond of. You look at the empty cup of coffee and then at him, and you let out a soft smile.

—Did you drink it all? —You asked, still smiling.

—Naturally —He answered—. I drank every last drop of your feelings—.
