First Of All, I Have To Say That It's Been A While Since I've Been To A Doll Meeting. I Was So Happy

First of all, I have to say that it's been a while since I've been to a doll meeting. I was so happy to attend a new one after years!

However, I was able to attend with the entire Emmerich family! It's really a pain to carry three 1/3 adult dolls, because they are heavy! To give you an idea, Hal is 73 cm tall, Lina is 60 cm, Sunny is 58 cm and Dave is 27 cm. Anyway, I bought an isotonic drink and some wet wipes and went to the meeting. It was in a park and I was the first to arrive.

Once everyone was together, the fun began! I got to see a huge amount of different dolls! Pullips, Monster High, Bjds, Dollfies, Smartdolls, even handmade dolls! Really, it was super fun!

I was really surprised how light the Smartdolls are! And there was a chubby one! I was super happy to be able to look at them up close and hold them in my hands! Everyone was super nice and willing to share! Here is a picture of all of them! (Sorry for the crappy quality, it was my #pocox3pro)

And I was so happy to see lil Dave with friends! I used to visit @miinnacchi account (https://www.instagram.com/miinnacchi) and wanted to have a little one like her, so now Dave has some friends!

Sunny was also super excited about her little brother! The people at the meeting loved the fact that he has a redder brown, so it feels like a mixed color between Hal and Lina's hair.

About Lina, they liked the fact that she's a "mini me" and liked her birthmark. And Hal was called "handsome" many times!

They were surprised by Sunny's expression and she was able to get new clothes!

So yeah! It was an amazing experience, I loved seeing dolls I hadn't seen before and being able to hold them in my hands. And now I have more confidence to share my pictures with the community.

Today I just realized that the pose I choose for Lina in her character reference, is the same opposite of the one Hal has in the official art.

This commission is already months old... And I just realized NOW. As always, the art was made by @VenomWalter_art

Little Dave wants to thank everyone who participated in the poll! Looking at the results, I decided: I will delete my bjd second account and I will post the bjd stuff here.

I hope that doesn't be an inconvenience.

Lovely commission that @evilwizardval made for me! And arrived just for Valentine's! I love how young Hal looks (I always commission him in his MGS4 era, so this is super refreshing to see) and I like a lot how Lina looks!

Now my mind will be thinking about them being younger

Haven't you people ever heard of being nice to each other? "The internet is mean, go cry about it" is such a nasty response, when I was growing up I was taught that being nice to others was a basic lesson of being a decent human being. But I seem to have missed the memo that if someone is being bullied it's their own fault for *checks notes* being affected by it?? This doesn't only happen in the BJD hobby. People seem to revel in being hateful like they've won something. Did I get the wrong lessons in preschool and onward? Are people brought up these days to think that they can justify mass harassment because someone is posting something they don't like? Is it a generational thing? Because something seems wrong here. Maybe it has something to do with people acting like anyone who posts literally anything on the internet should be treated like an influencer or some such even when they're just vibing.
