One thing you couldn't forget. Michael's face when Fredbear's jaws clamped shut on his little brother's head. His eyes were wide and guilty, the rest of his expression hidden behind his bloodied Foxy mask.

Safe to say, he was terrified and felt horrible about the accident. It was evident in how long he spent in the hospital. Right by his brother's side, praying for him to recover.

But now, after the funeral, he rarely left his room. He never hung around Fredbear's before it closed down after the accident.

You knocked on his bedroom door, you normally checked in on him. Making sure he ate and and drank. Ensuring he was taking care of himself properly.

Today, you find him taking a nap in his messy bed. His limbs sprawled aimlessly around his bed. You smiled, he looked peaceful. Smelly, but peaceful.

You cleaned his room, putting dirty vlothes in his hamper and such. Spraying Febreeze you store in his wardrobe to help with any lingering smells his room may have. Like any stale storage smells or odor from clothes.

You gently shook his shoulder, watching his features stir into a waking up expression. You motioned for him to sit up so he could eat and let you brush his hair. His curley mullet spiking in different directions.

❛ Good morning? ❜

He took a sip of water, his voice was hoarse and filled of sleep. You smiled. taking his hairbrush and brushing his hair. He was relaxed.

❛ It's 1pm, silly. You slept most of the day. ❜

You chuckled, watching as his brows furrow as he read his alarm clock.

He looked up at you, leaning backwards into your gentle touches. He liked the feeling of his hair being brushed by another.

You tilted your head down at him. Pausing brushing his hair mid-stroke. You were studying his mannerisms closely.

He tilted his head back to look you in your eyes. His blue ones looking tired and sleep filled. His eye's were like a gateway to his soul. To things he's never speak aloud or admit.

He was still feeling guilty and mourning.

There you were, just in the kitchen of your parent's old apartment. It was nice of them to give you it while you were doing further post secondry study.

Sure, Addison Apartment's weren't the nicest place. But this old building is very dear to you, afterall this is where you met the love of your life and most of your current friends.

As you were reaching for some food to put in to the pot, your eyes fall upon the picture frame. It was of you and Sal. It was a old picture, but it was a nice one. It was of prom, Sal was your prom date. He went despite not wanting to go.

You couldn't hear much, due to music playing while you cooked. But the second you turned around, you saw Sal. But, something wasn't quite right.

Your hands grabbed the counter behind you. It's not that you didn't trust him, you trusted your partner with all your life. But something didn't quite seem the same. It was his eyes.

❛ What are you doing? Are you okay? ❜

Your voice had wavered. You weren't okay. How could you possibly be okay in this scenario? Larry was dead, Sal wasn't acting like he usually did.

Those were the only words that graced his lips. The only words he's spoken this whole interaction.

He looked down. Not wanting to face your gaze. He pulled out a bloodied knife from his sweater. Who's blood was it? You didn't know. But your heart beat heightened at him coming closer while brandishing the knife.

You screamed, pushing off the counter and running off to seek shelter in your apartment. To call for help.
