currently thinking about izumi furuichi, theater director and mob wife, and she's always seen ginsenkai as another group of boys she takes care of. so when izumida passes and sakyo takes over (because he believes in ken, too, but he's still just a kid) and izumi becomes their anesan, it's not just a title. izumida always cared for them in his own way, and it's a little eerie how much sakyo takes after his dad the boss, but the way izumi is isn't something they're used to. she's gentle but direct, and always happy to translate when her husband isn't ("he's proud of you, you know"). they get hugs when they need them and smiles almost always - ichiro tells her privately that maybe the reason it's so easy for the oldest members to call her anesan is because she's so much like the anesan they remember.

maybe that's why they're so careful with her, too; they don't want to see her get sick, like azami's mom. maybe that's why when sakyo's been gone... longer than expected, they decide not to tell her. not until they have to.

when they do, izumi locks herself in her room for days. she's worried, she's pissed, she doesn't want to hear excuses - and they during one of her forays to the kitchen she overhears ken's voice, soothing and quiet in a way he only is with -

"i know he's okay, i know he is, fuckin' dumbass new clan tryin'a fuck with us like that shitty old man's not the most stubborn fuck on the face of the earth... i know he's fine, but i'm just..."

"it's okay to be scared, azami. i'm scared, too."

"... and i'm worried about mom- i-izumi. i mean izumi."

fuck.

she comes out the next day like nothing happened. her boys need her. including sakyo.

i'm thinking about izumi furuichi, acting boss of ginsenkai, whose husband has been missing for two years to the day, but she's never given up on him. she's just been waiting.

the only one she kills is the man who took him. the others she leaves for her boys while she slips past.

she opens the door to a room off the basement, and he looks up. he looks disgusting. she's never been so happy in her life.

he spits at her.

he says something, but izumi's ears are ringing. with the knife and her hair back, the blood on her clothes, her tattoos showing - he didn't recognize her.

because she looks like a yakuza.

"sakyo?"

azami. god damn it, she told him to stay in the car. ken comes trailing in after him, "-zami! fuck, sorry, boss lady - boss?"

and sakyo is just staring at azami. the kid takes a step towards him; he gasps suddenly, stands and pulls him into his arms.

"azami. azami." it's all he can say.

azami's - giggling, under his breath, like he can't contain his happiness. mumbling back, "yeah. yeah, it's me."

when he's able to let go of him, he looks up at the other two.

"sakoda."

"boss."

sakyo's mouth twitches up at the corner, and ken sniffs. izumi wipes his cheek with her sleeve like she's done it a million times.

"i- izumi?"

izumi swipes her bangs out of her face. a very real fear invented itself in her mind all at once.

this isn't the girl that dragged him into the practice room. this isn't the girl that wouldn't let him tear down the theater.

this isn't the girl he asked to marry him.

"hi, honey."

"oh, my god," he swears, and then he kisses her.

i'm thinking about ginsenkai, the house with two bosses, have you heard about them? yeah, once the husband got kidnapped, so the wife became head of the family to get him back. no, that's the thing, she was just a theater director. she just loved him that much. and now everyone in the underworld leaves them be. they just focus on their plays and taking care of their kids. the little one got a full ride to veludo arts, apparently. still a yakuza though. guess he's staying in both family businesses.

A3! Project Sekai crossover because I want to

Welcome to my tumblr this is where I talk about all the things I don’t want to bother my friends with and my Instagram is themed so I have no where else

Anyways so, here’s how it would work!

Mankai books a gig at Phoenix Wonderland’s theater, but with the students on summer break and the adults having time in their schedules, they decide to bring the entire company for team building, acting, and just fun!

While there, Tenma, Sakuya, Taichi, and Kazunari all break off to explore together, but as they do so, they feel as though they are being... watched.

After some wandering and tests, looking behind their backs and all that jazz to see what was going on, Misumi comes up behind them, dragging a red and yelling Tsukasa by the hand and just shouts

“I saw this guy following you all, so I brought him here! I think he wanted to be out friend!” Cause he’s Misumi and we love him.

So Tsukasa goes on this whole thing of “it’s unfair why did they hire an acting troupe form Vuledo when the wondershow is right here to act instead we sing and stuff we have me and that makes us 100X better. Yadda yadda yadda.”

Finally Tenma speaks up and is just “... who are you?”

Well the other Tenma is obviously offended cause of course he is, and is like “come to our show at this time today and you’ll see how much of a star I am!” Cause yeah

So the show is later in the day, after Mankai is supposed to have left, but Sakuya is like “we promised!” Cause he’s baby so they get the legend himself Homare to drive them because we know he and Rui have to meet.

So they arrive and go to the spot listed and just see a bunch of kids and their parents. So they sit and watch the show and are like

“Oh wow! This is pretty goo- okay now there’s lasers, explosions... what was the plot aga- oh my gosh it’s a robot.” And honestly they’re all just flabbergasted

Except Homare who is writing everything down as inspiration for his next poem.

So the show ends and WxS goes out to meet with Mankai, (sans Nene, they get Nenerobo instead) and Tsukasa is bragging about how great they were because of course

Emu is just really happy people came to see their show, especially people who she considers profession actors

And Rui is being Rui, there really is no other way to describe what that man does.

Anyways that’s all I have Uhh

Tenma and Tsukasa having this whole thing of “you don’t recognize me???” Going on at some point

Homare shows Rui his poems and performs them as Rui does his robot shows

Also Taichi. Low key forgot about Taichi but oh well know he would have been vibing the entire time. Like a whole “omg this is so cool”

I know this page is dead but the new Children Record MV came out today and I want to talk about it

Apologies for any spelling errors

CW Warning though if your reading this you probably know what you’re getting into

First thing I want to talk about is the replacement of IA with Miku, or at least that what it sounds like. I know that Jin switched record companies but this use is Miku makes this new era feel so, real. This is a re:boot. It’s a new age for the story, and the characters within. And just like with the first Children Record, this is its anthem. And I expect more changes with the songs and the stories they originally told as well.

The story is made to be interpreted, and I believe that there are two different stories on the same coin.

Okay now I want to talk about this

The Stay and Go

Most likey speaking of Shintaro’s suicide. Deleting ENE leads to his death. Does he choose to stay and fight with the Dan or go, escape, run away.

Shintaro’s story is one of escapism. One of wanting to get out of their own head, escape the world and run away and hide.

It’s only when he can face his fears head on that the story can progress and an ending can be made.

The video uses different landscapes and videos that project realism, going as far as actual footage of cities and buildings.

Kagerou Project is about characters and relationships. Characters meant to feel real. Strip away the eyes and they are people just like you and me. They aren’t meant to be idealized, they are supposed to be flawed. Supposed to make mistakes, do horrible things or do great things because they’re people.

They live in a world just like us and just want to survive just like us.

A commonly mentioned part of the lore of the story is that these people were drawn together. Because of Marry’s decision, from birth these children were fated to come together, meet, and die.

We don’t really see them as kids that much. With the exception of the original Mekakushi Dan and Momo and Shintaro in some routes. Other than that, we are simply told what they were like as kids, or not told at all.

That’s why I find this imagery so fascinating. Before they knew one another. Before some had their powers, others unaware that anything was wrong after their deaths, they were still all called together. They can’t escape their friendship, they always will be the Mekadan, whether they choose it or not.

It’s the Children Record

A story of kids young and old who just want to feel normal again.

“Boys and girls, face forward! Hope we can be found even in this wavering heat.”

There’s more I want to talk about

Like how the use of Manga Searu gives clearing eyes a true face in the story instead of just associating him with Konoha, clearing eyes is the personification of not wanting to let go, let him be seen as that.

Or about the use of the different time lines being tied together, with references to other MV’s, manga, and novels

But this is getting long I can’t type and there’s a lot of things I want to say but don’t know how to say them so

Expect a sequel. But for now
