Warnings: angst? Also this was kinda of a vent fic, I wrote down all my feelings from the past year and turned it into a fic, that's why it's corny.

(Name)/Reader is Yuu/Perfect

"I do everything, and I never get a thank you"

"I've had to take care of every mess, and my only reward is getting a pat on the back or being allowed to even go on trips as the bag carrier".

"When I complain, I just get threatened to be kicked out or reminded that there is no where for me to go. How would that make you feel?"

"I get asked to do thing, but if I don't do them then am the asshole"

"I have no one besides that damn cat to hug. How sad is that. I don't even remember when the last time someone said that they love me or gave me a genuine hug. I miss my family, I miss the people who genuinely cared about me".

"If I died here there wouldn't be anyone to care, my family probably thinks I'm already dead!"

(Name) felt like drowning, they felt like tempered glass that was dropped too hard.

'Burned out' that's the word (Name) wanted to use but who can say? Depression, burned out, anger, agony, it was the same thing in the mixing bowl, but beaten to hard.

(Name) just stared at their phone, waiting for the alarm to just go off so they could start another day, doing everyone's chores, then working a shift at Azul's lounge, then finally doing theirs and Grims homework.

*ting*

Times up. Time to get ready and be there for everyone while no one is there for you.

(Name) could barely hear the arguing between Ace and Grim, then venting coming from Epel, (Name) was too zoned our to notice their food getting colder and colder. But they could feel the hundreds of eyes upon them, it was like a curse.

"(Name) are you-" before Jack could finish his sentence a swarm of needy people came to their table.

"Oohhhh (nammmmee)! Me and Jamil are going to this new restaurant, do you wanna come with?"

"Oi her-"

"Get your dirty paws off them, I was here first, so their attention should be on me".

"Shrimpy!! Can you take my shift tonighttttt?????".

The bickering slowly started fade out, (Name) couldn't focus on anything but clock ticking and their heart beating.

"IM GOING TO THE BATHROOM!" (Name) suddenly ran off.

In the bathroom, (Name) was almost hyperventilating.

'I can't keep doing this' (Name) thought as they splashed water onto their face.

(Name) looked in the mirror, their sunken face, tired eyes, their appearance was laughable.

(Name) felt angry, why are they always the bad guy, why can't they put boundaries? Why are they the one who has to do everything? Why are they the one who has to fix it?

(Name) was slowly seething.

But then their heartbreaks at the thought that no one really cares, can't anyone else see them slowly slipping away? Why won't anyone help them, why can't anyone else see what they are going through?

"Hey, you doing okay bro?"

(Name) turned around facing Duece, "Yeah, I'm fine. You know, stressed".

Deuce gave (name) a look, "are you sure? You look agitated"

(Name) thought about it, this would be a great time to just vent! "Am I? Sorry, I wouldn't know why"

Deuce hummed, "your food was getting cold, thought I would save it"

(Name) grabbed the tray from Deuce, "thanks".

A knock interrupts the two, "oh! (Name)! Perfect timing! I need your assistance!"

(Name) felt their body sink to the floor, "How can I help Crowley?".

Keys jingle, the door opens, "Perfect! I need your help! It's a dire situation! One that will cost Ramshackle!".

(Name) felt themselves age faster.

Crowley explains how he fell into a pyramid scheme, how does this involve (name)? No one knows.

"If you don't help! Who know what could happen! Those overbolts only happen around you!".

(Name) felt their heart-dropped, tears tricked down their face.

Deuce reached out for "(Name)".

"I just feel so ashamed and embarrassed? How was any of that my fault? Like don't they know how traumatizing it was for me to go through all of those damn overbolts? Why do they have the right" (Name) wailed.

Crowley and Deuce could only watch in shock.

"This is all YOUR fault!" (Name) screamed.

"Now listen here perfect! Just because-"

"NO! It is your fault! Why am I to take any of the blame?!".

"What's going on in here?".

A crowd gathered around the bathroom door, hushed voices, judgemental, sympathetic stares.

(Name) felt the stares, eyes staring at them, seething. It was all too much.

The room was spinning; the voices getting louder, more eyes appearing.

It was madness.

(Name) felt their heart race, breathing so fast like they'd run a marathon.

'I've got to get out of here'.

(Name) went to move into the crowded hallway, their steps erratic.

The hushing voices are getting louder.

"Look at them".

"How are they the perfect?"

"Can't do anything right-".

"They don't belong here-".

"Magicless-".

"Abnormal-".

"Waste of space-".

"The school's janitor-".

"Teacher's pet"-.

"Stuck up-".

"WORTHLESS-".

A hand grabs their shoulders, "(Name) are you alright?".

(Name) looks into Malleus's eyes, "no".

Darkness.

(Name) finally opened their eyes.

'It's quiet'.

(Name) looked around and saw "Get Well Soon" cards decorated the room, deflated balloons.

"You're awake".

(Name) saw Crowley sitting in a chair by them, "It's been a couple of weeks you know? Personally I thought you were gone, I mean, a magicless human overbolting? Never happened before. But with you, a lot of things never happened before".

"I'm still... so tired" (Name) silently cried.

"I know. I'm sorry".

That's all (Name) felt as they waltz with strangers. It was endless, the music was never-ending, the same symphony would get quiet and then repeat.

Once it got quiet (Name) would hear humming.

(Name) got off the stranger, politely excusing themselves. (Name) walked around trying to find the source of the humming, it was quiet, but soothing.

(Name) went up stairs only to re-enter the ballroom they were just in, same with going down stairs. They always re-enter the same ballroom.

'This is getting stranger and stranger by the minute'. (Name) was lost, the humming wouldn't get louder or softer, it was consistent.

The symphony slowly picked back up where it started, 'how did I get here? Where am I' (Name) looked around, feeling dizzy by the guest waltzing around them, the spinning and laughter around them was endless.

"Mind if I steal this dance?"

(Name) looked up to the figure, 'he is enchanting'. Feeling heat rise to their face, they nodded.

The man chuckled, leading them to the center of the ballroom.

(Name) felt eyes grow on them, but the humming stopped, causing them to look around.

"Is everything alright my dear?"

(Name) looked at the man, "um, yes".

"Are you sure? You look so uncertain, are you nervous?". His smile was warm but felt so sinister.

(Name) rested their head on the man's chest as they danced, "Well, kinda. Where are we?".

The ceiling was endless as were all the rooms, the room stretched, what looked like hundreds of people dancing around the two.

(Name) looked closer at the man, his horns where decorated with lace covering his eyes, but oh was it his eyes that stood out the most. The envy green eyes that pierced their mind, their soul and swallowed them whole.

"Say, have we met before?"

He smiled at them, adoring thier curiosity, "Of course, once upon a dream".

"A dream?" (Name) was puzzled, when was the last time they dreamed? They felt like they were so busy, but they can't seem to remember anything before this dance.

"NAME!"

(Name) looked around, "did you hear that?".

"Hear what love?" The man hummed, humming, that irritable humming.

(Name) felt themselves getting angry, that humming was making their head hurt, "My name! That's my name! And your name... what is your name?".

"Names are very powerful, Little one, do you really wish to know my name?"

"Well, I think that I know you"

"NAME! WAKE UP!"

The whole room shook, dust falling on everyone, people around them were glitching, in and out of place.

"Wait, wake up? Am I in a dream? Sir, where are we?". (Name) tried to break away from the man, but was shoved back into his arms.

"It seems that we are being distributed". The man holds (Name)'s cheeks, rubbing them softly.

(Name) feel nauseous, worry crept up their spine, alarm bells ringing in their head, "I think I should be going sir".

"Oh no, we can't have that, shhhh. It's okay, just relax" The man picked up (Name), rocking them as if they were a baby.

The man softly hummed as he rocked (Name), the ballroom got dark, the music finally stopping.

"Shhh, it's okay (Name). I'll give us a better dream, where no one can disturb us". The man kissed the top of their head.

(Name) felt themselves relaxed, listening to the soft humming, their eyes slowly closing once last time.

Imagine you're a prince on an adventure, why? To prove to your family that you are ready to take the throne. On your way, you find a small village in desperate help; they tell you a tale or an old prophecy of a hero coming and over-throwing a dragon and ending its reign of terror, well there's a slight problem...

"There is a dragon I say! We've seen it with our own eyes!"

(Name) nodded their head, 'okay lady, as if dragons haven't been extinct for hundreds of years' "Ma'am I would really love to help, but I see no dragon here nor any issues".

The old woman got red in the face, "Do you see any crops? Do you see the once gushing waterfall? No?! That's because a dragon has made our home their home! The land is cursed!!".

(Name) did look around the town, it was very dry, but that could be from numerous things, like maybe to the new build damn that kingdom had sent out a noticed to all the near by towns.

"What kind of hero are you? Do you doubt the people in need?". The crowd around the two agreed, bickering.

(Name) sighed, "Okay, I'll look for the dragon". Not wanting to tarnish his barely known reputation.

The town cheered.

"So where is this dragon?".

'Of course it had to be an abandoned castle with lava. Noooo it couldn't be a cave in a mountain or a crater in a field'.

(Name) carefully walked acrossed an old bridge, "for my honor, for my family, for the town filled with delusional citizens" he repeated.

The castle was barren, nothing but old family crest that used to mean something to someone, an old throne room, and skeletor remains.

'Wait... human remains?'. (Name) quickly pulled out their sword.

"So after 500 years of war, this is what they sent me? An omega?"

"You!- how can you smell my scent?! Show yourself!"

The voiced groaned, "I rather not, I was sleeping comfortably until you showed up. Can't a man get a few hundred years of sleep?".

Armin was a young mage, or even a mage in training. In this world magic is very limited and only few people are born with the ability to use and read ancient texts. So when Armin is hired by a royal family to cure their only son from a curse that was placed on you as a baby. What is that curse? No one knows, not even the royal physician could see what's wrong with you. Is it paranoia or a real curse.

Armin was chanting the third scripture of the day, the intense was burning, salt around the windows, every precaution measure was taken.

As the meditation ended, the two sat in silence.

Armin coughed, "so do you feel any different?"

(Name) sighed, "nope".

Armin grabbed his checkboard, "so you are definitely not possession, so that takes that off the list".

(Name) just hummed while they stared at the ceiling.

"I can't find anything, even looking at your medical records, no diseases or counts of plague".

"That's not surprising. I'm pretty sure that my dam just imagined an old woman talking to me in the middle of the night. I mean what does no sleep do to a person".

"Hmmm, that could be a possibility but it is good to find out for sure".

"Well, it's been like this since that day and so far we've found nothing so far".

"Oh that reminds me". Armin went through his magic endless bag.

"Happy birthday (name)".

(Name) smiled fondly at the small present, "what is it?".

Armin smiled and took a seat next to (Name), "go ahead. Open it".

As (Name) opened the little box, he looked inside, "A necklace?".

"It's a special necklace, watch".

Armin took the necklace out of (Name)'s hands, putting on the bed. With a wave of his hand, the amulet glowed, then showing a map of the world.

"Woah! Is this where we live?".

Armin chuckled, "Yeah and here's where I am from".

(Name) looked fondly at the small holographic map.

"Once we figure out your curse, I wanna show you the world. You don't need to stay in this tower all the time, if you are going to be king, you need to see all the cultures and the world!".

Bounty Hunter Jean

"GOD DAMN IT, I SAID GET OUT!".

(Name) was the only mage in his kingdom, he was also apparently the only one the King was willing to hire, sending a Bounty Hunter to bother him until he was confined.

CRASH

Another bottle of enchantment was gone, broken in front of a tree where many others lied. Jean huffed, "this would just be easier if you would come with me".

(Name) grabbed their broom and walked over. "I can't leave! I've got a farm of plants and chickens to take care of!"

Speaking of chickens, a flock came up right behind the man, following his every move.

"Are you going to take care of them?". (Name) glared at Jean, pointing his broom into Jean's chest.

Jean put his hands up in the air, "Listen, I'm only here-".

(Name) rolled his eyes,"To take me to see the King because he declared an audience with me, ya ya, I heard you all morning. Is that all?".

"Yeah?".

"Good". (Name) started to whisper.

"Wait!-"

Jean was blowned back to the beginning of the woods.

"FUCKING WITCHES!".
