This was a cute template going around on Twitter that I wanted to fill out! There's so many fun characters in this series, and this template gave me a chance to draw a few that I haven't drawn before. It's always fun to draw WoF characters because even though there's technically official references, the fandom is filled with all kinds of really fun interpretations. I like giving all the tribes little differences in design outside of obvious color, like rounded ears and curled horns for seawings, pointy elf ears for nightwings, thinner snouts for skywings and rainwings etc.

In my headcanon, adult Peril really wants a cub with Clay, but because of her fiery ability, babies do not live to hatch. The reason for this is the high temperature, due to which the egg is formed incorrectly
