How I convinced my friend to read the Locked Tomb series
I told him, in this order:
I used to describe the series as "lesbian necromancers in space + skeletons", but now I prefer "gay goth among us" (i did not come up with this , if you know who did please tell me so I can give them credit)
There are sword-wielding lesbians
There is a main character who can best be described as an autistic lesbian wizard nun
There are sword-wielding lesbians
The audiobook can be considered better than the physical book in many respects [he listens to audiobooks]

on one of the podcasts I listen to the hosts are exes who broke up 20 years ago and stayed best friends and that's the energy I'm trying to cultivate with a man. honestly doesn't have to be a man. I'm looking for this type of friendship. Anyone want to date me then dump me then be best friends forever
